By some force, at 1am Central time, I’m sitting and reading peoples comment and some cool and some really boring time travel stories. Well as far I can say I’m a person who likes stories because I live by stories. I’m making video documentaries and also I attend filming school. From what I’ve read it seem to me that most “fiction-Writes here” who pretending to be from the future, taking concepts from the movies, like Time Cop, Back to the future and some other Movie sources. Well this is kind of fun because there is a few Fiction books that you could use as a reference also.

On the other hand, why you people even start this “I came from the Future” in the first place? Is it because you don’t have anything else to do in your miserable life? Or is it that you wish to change something that you done long time ago, but for some natural reasons, it is impossible?

Well it seems to me that even if time travel is possible, and someone who comes from the Future to worn us about some catastrophe, would not be taken seriously. On less he or she would save someone who has power.

I personally don’t know any technical jargon if it comes to Physic. But from what I understand it might be possible. So if it is possible why not to come forward with it? Well anyway people would not take that person seriously and usual that person would end up as psycho.

Also would it be nice to go back and fix your own mistakes? I wish I could do that. Maybe then I would not event write this Nonsense to this forum on the first place. Well anyway if it is possible, let me know, I want to go back and fix my mistakes. Is it possible? Or is it too expensive?

Ah one more thing… one of the Fiction-Writers who pretend to be from the future written that time travel is control by Military. If it is; then why not send someone to Fix 9/11? Why not to send military personally to fix problem with immigration that is out of control? Why not to send someone who can fix those mistakes before they ever occur? Why not to send some one who could prevent 2000 election to take place and force the other party to win (al Gore). What about Vietnam, cold war, Invasion of Poland 1939 September, Korean War or other event that should not take place, but should be stop by alleged Time Traveler.

I am Not, a time traveler. In fact, the only time traveling I do, is from second to second everyday as it stands. Your questions were really good ones, and I have posted a few questions here that seem to be answered in varying ways. Ofcourse, Rainman Time seems to be more legite in his answers, having coherancy in thought about his answers. I read the articles that were stationed at the home page of this site. Very amusing to say the least.

Time travel, if possible in the future, would not I guess, be used to undo a big catastrophy. I would think that if anything, it would be used to cause them. There was this cool movie, I can't think of the name of it, or maybe a Twilight Zone or an Outer Limits episode, where people from the future came back to witness great disasters. Kinda like a big game hunt, only disasters being the prize. What if they, from the future, made these disasters happen, just for amuzment for being so damn bored in their rather meaningless lives? Who's to say the future is so exciting and awesome? It could be rather uneventful.

I have no idea as to what anyone from the future would want here, if it wasn't to change the future in some way. Let's try this another way. How about time travelers, though instead of them being from our future, their from the future of another world. They have time travel capabilities, including gate technology, and they use our little back water planet for experimentation. They come to this time line (present day - back) to cause disasters to see how we react. To see if we'll try and get our stuff together. They stay and observe, and then leave, returning to their departure point here through a gate, then wisk back to their own time with the results.

Maybe, we should have developed time travel, but these alien races have come back to insure whoever would develope it, are killed in some disaster, preventing us from doing it to them. Now that? Is galactic warfare on a whole other scale.

Anyway, the possibiilties are endless. Take care.
 
Until we can have solid proof that People can go back in time there is only speculation. If they are really those who came to warren us, why don’t they got to Press and prove that they are really from that time. Why do they only use internet to spread this nonsense. To check this people what they are and where they writing from you can always use internet tools to Ping that person location and find where he or she is typing from. That is all to it. (Of course if you are some crazy fanatic, you would do it).
 
Various theories abound for time travel. The theory I susbscribe to is that one cannot travel back in time to before the time machine was built. You may travel forward in time, and of course back to when the machine was successfully used, but travelling further back before the machine was created is a major drawback for me. I'm trying to ascertain whether those who claim they have come to us from the future, are liars (which I think), or just ever so slightly derranged. I would ask anyone claiming such a feat, how do they achieve time travel in an Einstein universe? Unless of course Einstein was very very wrong. And of course to travel through time you would need to travel faster than the speed of light, this would then make it a doddle to travel back in time due to the fact that if you go faster than the speed of light, you in a sense go backwards through time.

Pinging a persons origin wouldn't really prove anything, other than they use the net from a particular part of the world. There are programs that allow you to spoof an ip address, so tracking people is a waste of time. As with my ip for example, it should tell you I am using an isp in the UK. Try it and see. But, am I really from the UK or am I spoofing the ip address? It's hard to tell really, and doesn't mean much. Most people will come on here for a while claiming this and that, and from what I have read it seems a goodly number of regulars love the challenge of shooting these claimants down in flames. You'll see yourself the mistakes that many claimants make. And I have to confess that I do find it fun to witness claimant A get shot down by regular B for example.
Am I a nasty person? No, I just enjoy witnessing the world around me, people interaction, and various country specific predjudices evident on these and other forums.
You'll also find that the net is an excellent medium for spreading any old rubbish you wish, from creationism, to praising the healing powers of cheese!
 
There's a certain sick appeal to watching everyone buy into time travellers and titor and stuff. sorta like a car wreck-- i don't believe a word of it, but I can't myself from looking into it
 
As of now (april 18th) I did not found any evidence of prediciting or preventing something major. Well if all the "time travelers" are here on this web site or Forum, can some use magic and predict when there will be another earthquake in SFO? oor when Iran will annihilate all Jews from this planet? Better yet, when Bush (this is president of USA) will be charged with war Crimes?
