What is the first step I should take?

Hi Everyone,

I am sure this has been discussed, nevertheless, being new, I was wondering, if someone could step in and explain this to me.

Should my first step be intellectual and gain the technical background knowledge first? Should I learn from other people's experiences first? Should I just jump right in and try it?

I am not walking into this as a doubter. I do believe time travel is possible!

Meanwhile, while I await an answer, I will take advantage of reading about other peoples experience to gain more insight into this matter. Huh, I guess, I answered my own question, I will research others experience. Still, any advice is much appreciated.

Well, I read some of the posts concerning others "experiences". Seemed like a lot of just debunking other people's claims of time travel. Well, I have come to the conclusion that whether I think time travel is possible is irrelevant. I do not think I would want to time travel. I do not think I would want to learn about my future, nor would I want to go back to the past. I think life is about living in the present. Nevertheless, I find the posts, thus far read, quite interesting, and will continue to visit this forum and participate in discussions. I just do not have any personal plans in attempting to time travel. I would suppose this whole concept is similar to quantum jumping.

I have to agree that there living in the past or the future would be difficult. Just because of the differences in lifestyle. (technology for example). However I think I wouldn't mind an excursion to the middle ages and such just to hopefully get to see something interesting.

Wow, sounds like you were dissuaded pretty quickly! I can appreciate your newfound view and I'm sure that many would identify. Thanks for signing up and welcome to the forum!

I can relate to your attraction to the middle ages. I , myself, enjoy reading and learning about eras through time. I agree and imagine the middle ages would be quite a shock to us today without modern conveniences. Anyways, I will play along with the idea of going back to the Middle Ages. I would want to walk through an area I am familiar with today, and see how it has changed. Like some surreal nature walk, not so much interaction. Well, that is how I feel at this moment in time.
