I suppose that all social interactions are conspiracies. But, that which happens in your own mind is not a conspiracy since there is only one person involved.

Hypothesis: Everything is a conspiracy except a conspiracy theory.

Come to think of it, I suppose that this definition makes this forum a conspiracy as well. But a conspiracy to do what? What am I missing???????

To me a conspiracy (for popular use of the word) is when people think there are things going on behind their backs, which usually leads to fear & paranoia.
I suppose it would also for this usage lend to the 'paranoid egocentric';
to think so many others pay so much attention to them - that the world must revolve around them.

To me, after reading through these forums, there seems to be two ends of the spectrum-

RMT - represents a reality check
CIG - represents questioning everything in relation to his feeling of being secure


Then again, isn't there a charge with the same name?

In reality a conspiracy is two or more people who, together, plan some sort of a crime or other anti-social activity. In the vernacular a conspiracy is the paranoid wishes of a weak personality.
