Instead of sitting here and trying to figure out if John Titor is a hoax or not why don't we actually try to change things!. I know we are just trying to make sense out of this and I have tried, but by this point it wouldnt hurt to try to change things. John Titors predicitons have been 100 out of 100 correct!. So why not try to change things. Titor even said said we can change things so why not change them?. We do not have to sit here and wait!. Timetraveler or not Titors predictions have been right ever since he made them, even the dates they happen are correct!. At this point I don't think John Titor being a timetraveler matters anymore, we should still follow what he says. like Titor said, people of this time are like sheep. Im not talking about anyone specific, I am not a die hard titor believer. I even have common sense!. You do not have to believe Titor's story about being a time traveler to believe his predicitons!. You do not have to believe John Titor is a time traveller to do something about the predicitons he has made.To not do anything its like people before WorldWar II knowing the holocaust would happen and exactly what would happen before it to cause it to happen, but not do anything about it, even after the predicitons start to come true!. John Titor was right when he said we are sheep!. We need to speak up and speak out. I will not let future people suffer for are carelessness!. Doing something is better than nothing!. So lets do something!.
 
So what you're saying is that by timeline intervention, there is a timeline, like a timeline, like a timeline.

So what happens in some timelines will happen in other timelines, but if that timeline is augmented, then something may not happen in that timeline, but might anyway happen in another timeline?
 
OK here are some of the main predicitons John Titor made(not in his exact words)
-madcow becoming something we shoulld really worry about
-civil war starts between 2004-2005
-madcow can be caught through surgical instruments
-olympics cancelled!
-world war III in 2012(i think)
-nuclear war!

There is alot more, but those are the only ones I oculd think of!

You started by stating that Titor was 100 for 100 with his predictions. Then you were asked for some examples. Most of your examples still lay in the future so they aren't "correct". The others, like Madcow, are opinions.

How about his prediction in 2000 that CERN would create micro black holes "within a year or so" in their new collider? That's the basis for his time machine. That one is true only if you accept 7 years (from 2000 to 2007 when the LHC comes on line) as "within a year or so." So he missed on a not-so-insignificant prediction right at the get go.

I also wonder why you refer peole to www.johntitor.com for their information. The John Titor Saga started right here on TTI. A few weeks later it was also started on Art Bell's old BBS "Post-2-Post." The time travel forum from P2P became the time travel forum on www.anomalies.net when Art closed down his BBS. If you want the information it's here and on Anomalies, not JT.com.

www.johntitor.com has no original information and has done little or no investigation. Williams simply copied selected posts from here and P2P, did some editing, and posted them on his board.

Your moderator here, Roel, is an original poster on the "Time Travel Paradoxes" and "Limited to 11 Pages..." threads from TTI. Those were Titor's main threads here. Rainman, MadIce, Al. C., Rick, Pamela, Florida Jim and I were also original posters. You won't find us on JT.com.
 
I just did that because they have most of the links to where he posted, I actually go to anomalies alot!. Theres also a link to anomalies on that site, but I moslty did that because I couldn't remember most of his predicitons. Yeah there are alot of predicitons he has made that have already happened or starting to happen, I was only trying to post the main ones!.Thats the only reason I gave that site, because it had all those links!. Anomalies and timetravel institute are definitley the best places to look. I'll admit I gave some bad examples /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

I have to disagree with you, I don't see any of his predictions coming true. As for mad cow, this was a global concern prior to Titor ever posting.
 
Can I just point out that the reason I've not been able to watch Neighbours for the last week and a half is because the Olympics have been going on. I wouldn't call that cancelled.
 
Why the ideal of this thread is flawed, is that once you alter a timeline, it becomes divergent.

The second to this line of thought is, that once you really alter the timeline, then the timeline becomes greatly altered.

In our area of the web, it was Pamela who gave us most of the play by play on Titor, as most of what the later crew was getting, was then second hand knowl;ege.

So you might say by Pamela's insistence on the information that she gave, if indeed Titor was real, then her coming forth in respects to how she assisted in divergence to this now altered timeline, would be equal to doing a cannonball off the high dives, in flaming red and dayglow colors.

Pamela really fought for John Titor, I guess because of some supposed personal affectation for him, however unknowingly she may have pushed the divergence of the timeline, in a very great measure?

This might mean if Titor was real, he not only diverged the timeline, however the appearance of Pamela helping in the process, may have pushed the timeline divergence way beyond the point of being able to measure it?
 
I agree, Creedo. Because John claimed that the "divergent timeline" theory was indeed correct it is impossible to disprove his credentials as a time traveller on the grounds of his predictions being wrong. However, what's being addressed here is the claim that all of his predictions are coming, or have come true. The simple fact is that they haven't.

And, as far as disproving Titor being a time traveller at all, I think that that's been done to most people's satisfaction here by examining the physics that he claimed. No need for predictions at all.
 
Actually if his predictions are not coming true that is a good thing, Pamela and Titor seriously saved our butt's and they are both true heros /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Actually there are some other things not apparent to the John Titor saga.

One would be like me giving a mind altering drug to Time Trav00.

Then leading him into an alley way, taking a sperm sample from him the old fashion way, into a cool jar.

Then giving you the reversing drug, taking you out of the alley, saying to everyone wondering what's going on, "It's okay everyone, we just went back to look at something in the alley, everything is alright now"?

I wouldn't enjoy the process, what I was after all the time is the genetics associated with your sperm.
