We're not in Discourse yet! The site will go offline on the 28th and then come back up on or shortly after the weekend.I am back!! Again!! I couldn't load the website for a long time but the move to Discourse seems to have worked for me. What have I missed?
Uh-oh. Hope I don't get shunted off somewhere again then...I missed this place it's lonely outside...We're not in Discourse yet! The site will go offline on the 28th and then come back up on or shortly after the weekend.
I, too, had problems loading this site for awhile...at least loading it from Chrome. When I used IE I was able to use the site without a problem. And then about a week ago I decided to try Chrome again, and now it works again with Chrome. Might be some specific setting that Cosmo had changed (and changed back?) in the preparations for Discourse? Just conjecturing...FWIWI am back!! Again!! Hmm... Nothing comes to mind in terms of changes that would have affected anyone's ability to access the site at any point. I only use Chrome and SOMETIMES FireFox; never had that issue before. We run traffic through CloudFlare to help block malicious visitors. The only thing I can think of is it's possible that it misidentified you as a "bad" visitor for some reason, but I'd need to know what specific error it was giving you to know for sure. There will be a more obvious way to contact me directly on the new platform so if it comes up again, use it and send me a copy/paste of the error you get.I, too, had problems loading this site for awhile...at least loading it from Chrome. I never got an error message Cosmo. The site would partially load but only the skeleton of a page with bits missing....it would never finish loading and wouldn't let me click on anything.Hmm... I have seen that once or twice before - It's usually just the browser having an outdated cache and can happen after the theme or software gets an update.Pressing Control + F5 forces the cache clear and always works for me.I never got an error message Cosmo. That makes sense. Thanks Cosmo I will note that tip it may work for many other sitesI have seen that once or twice before - It's usually just the browser having an outdated cache and can happen after the theme or software gets an update.Pressing Control + F5 forces the cache clear and always works for me.
