viable test\'image of the future\'

if the brains response to an image could be documented and copied ,it could be sent directly to that part of the brain that processes images via electrodes, bypassing the eye, the subject would see the image momentarily before seeing it through his or her vision,if it was a moving object and the artificial connection was fast enough, you experience the feeling of seeing the future... the future...the future....he, he

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

In your example, you would not see the future, but you would see the image in more a truer real time, i.e., you would see it a little sooner.

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

if such an electronic eye were feasable ,would a fighter pilot be able to process information faster than his apponent? or a time traveller be able to process more information whilst travelling at light speed?

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

another point being ,able to document the effect on having seen what will happen next and any negative effects......probably life long membership of the time travel institute...or alternativly a slow and inperseptable slip into complete madness ha ha

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

If you travel at light speed, you might see the same images forever. Other images would have to travel faster than light to reach someone traveling at light speed.

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

I think if you travel at light speed all you see is light. light everywhere. how could you hold an image at all at that speed?
then some people say if you travel at light speed you would see nothing. but i think that would be if you traveled Faster than light speed.
you can see light now cant you? I donno I think you would just see light.
but then you have to ask can the physical body even travel that fast? but we already discussed that on here somewhere.

If you travel at the speed of light you will soon encounter a moth flying 98 feet per minute. It will then deliver several dozen megawatts of heat to your forehead. What comes after that is somebody elses problem.

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

ok....say im sat in this craft aproaching light speed...inorder to give myself enough time to see up and coming images i fire a laser from my craft ,by the time it has reached the object and returned im know at that point therefore it would give me snap shots of the images as i pass them wich could be recorded at intervals.

RE: viable test\'image of the future\'

Right, right right, if I were crusing down the bullivard at the speed of light and I switched on my headlights, would they shine backwards?(Boy oh man-o-man I never thought I'd get to use that line.) I'm just trying to say that long before a physical body reached the speed of light problems of practiacity would intervien. Like if you are going 186,000 miles per second in one direction (hopefully) then EVERYthing else is going 186,000 mps in the opposite direction. Under these conditions a single atom would cause a dammaging impact,

Well yes but they don't put people and Mack trucks in partical excellerators, because as I said WE can't go that fast (in one piece), so its a mute issue.
