I figure someone went back in time and bought my other ball knowing the great achievement will likely remain forever unless gravity weakens a lot. This guy set a lot of records and I'm sure the stands were full of time travellers due to the historical significance. Now someone has snatched one of my balls. Not funny you time travelling hooligan.
Give me back my ball.

After looking at the Titor photo of cigar smoke bending down the light it made me rethink the baseball. If there was added gravity to the room that they check the legal weight of the baseball used in a game then a less dense ball would make its way into the game.

Seriously , I bought two of those balls from the debut dated 4/4/2016 weeks ago. Then yesterday not hours later but weeks later things changed. This change would not effect the world timeline , that I could imagine but it got this posting into a time travel forum.

I also had an incident of trying to find a first lp record that I bought with various artists. I can't seem to find it in searching the internet.

Well Hard-Worker, you're not the only one with weird things happening, or changing around them. I was recently at work, and I was counting my rack, ( I am a card dealer ) My table was dead, so there isn't much to do while you wait, so I decided to count how much I had in red $5.00 chips. The very first stack on the left side of the tray, second chip from the top. Also, these chips are painted on the tops and sides with different striped colors, which in this case happen to be a light blue. Pay attention as this little detail is important. As I was looking down counting, the second chip from the top, rotated by itself in its tray. How do I know? I literally watched that blotch of paint on the side of the chip go from right to left. Put it this way, the way it moved, one would of had to put the edge of their finger on that one chip, as not to disturb the others, and rotate it manually. Well since we are not allowed to touch our chips on a dead game, I sat there an stared asking myself did I just see that, did that really happen? Then I thought aha! surveillance caught it I am sure, to I immediately called my Floor... He came right over, I quickly asked if it was okay to fix my rack, he gave permission and I moved that chip I saw move by itself back into it's original position. I then cleared my hands. I wanted a marker on the video just in case. You can clearly see me I am sure staring at the rack, then see my reaction to what happened. etc.

There are a lot more, but this is the most recent. No history of mental illness. For all those who think I am making this up. It's why I like this site. Somewhere to go and post all the strange true stuff that happens. That most others would not believe.

To me personally? I wouldn't have thought about someone going back in time and buying something I wanted to keep me from getting it. Memorabilia of an occasion that is historically significant , that I have thought about. I never really considered it as a way to tip us off that time travel was possible. I wonder now if it could be aged fifty years then returned to its valid timeline just aged?

Well that's really interesting. Has anything like this happened to you before?
Who were you speaking to? Me or Hard Worker? The experience I describe above is the first time I witnessed a stagnate object move by itself. Ever in my life. However as far as other time "slips" go, I've had those. Slips, shifts, something IS going on for sure.

@No_More_Bets I was referring to you. Sorry for any confusion. I am new to some of these concepts. What do you class as slips and shifts?

For instance, a few months ago I was sitting in the drive-thru lane at Arby's listening to A.M. radio when the radio show host came on, and announced Willie Nelson had died. He announced it twice, once before the commercial break, and once after, when they returned from commercial break. In the interim I was on the phone with my fiance' and she said there was nothing on the news or online about it. Meanwhile I am on the phone listening to this guy go on - an off the cuff eulogy if you will. Bizarre.
Twitter being talked about on a rebroadcast of a Coast To Coast AM show from October of 2001. My fiance' and I both heard this back in 2011. The original thread is on here somewhere I think. The big one is the Asian guy who works at a nearby tattoo shop that my fiance' claims I've met before. But I never have. We've been together 8 years and I don't recall meeting him ever. The thing is, I knew everyone who worked there, she used to co-own the shop! So why would I not remember this ONE employee? So, yeah.... bizarre. The big one is watching Nelson Mandela's funeral on live T.V. in 1994 and his wife seceding him afterwards for a short time. Then he dies again in 2013??? I have several close friends who also saw his funeral and TV news report of his death in 1994. Also Chris Cornell of Soundgarden dying of a drug overdose around 1998 or 1999, then shortly after there's Audioslave?

In the summer of 2006 while watching Entertainment Tonight, they had a breaking story that Keifer Sutherland died in a jet-skiing accident while on vacation in Lousiana. I remember thinking, that was an odd place to go vacation. I recall this clearly, as I had an internet radio show then and was on air an announced it to my listeners. I had about 100 people scouring the net for a news story, but no one ever found one. Before E.T. went to a commercial, they said they would have the full story when they returned. When the show came back on, they NEVER mentioned the story again. Not one word. It was as if it was never reported. That was the very first incident.

Oh, God. Yes. And the same conspirators went back and refused to allow me to keep my Frank Thomas foil rookie card or... maybe Topps publishes so damned many cards in every set that since about 1982 their cards ...all of their cards...are considered to be $0.05 "commons" no matter who is on the card?

"Added gravity to the room"? What does that mean? But what does any of this have to do with the physics behind the "cigar" photo? The cigar photo shows light being bent almost 45 degrees less than 6 meters from the camera but that's it. The world reacts appropriately to the gravity of a black hole over "there" but over "here" a few meters closer to the camera the laws of physics do not apply? Light suddenly fails to react to gravity? I don't think so! Either the laws of physics apply or the laws don't apply.

And, please, before you reply to my post...let me know what you have done toward studying Special and General Relativity. Making a statement that "well, we don't know all there is to know" is a dodge. I don't care what you don't know, I only care about what you actually do know.

PS: I can hear the cogs turning now. What do I know? What does he know?

Are you really sure you want to ask that question after my posting here for 16 years?

I do believe time travel will be a place of tourism. The Frank Thomas rookie card I got was playing a baseball coin op prize , it was a grand slam game with the metal balls and a bat with a ramp. They took my payment for Trevor Story debut baseball he signed. He can't go back and make more yet , and that day began a series of records. Last night was number 18 homerun. The ball may have been taken from me to trigger talk about time travel tourism laws. I'm not talking physics but physical memento that the future knows won't make it due to the holders inability to survive.

I am homeless poor, a target of thieves and violence.

As for gravity ... I am just a ushpa paraglider pilot trained at point of the mountain. My main teacher was Steve Mayer and was signed off by Mike Steen who is currently with squirrel suit company. They made me study.

My belief that gravity caused extinction of many plants and animals is belief alone. There was a tsunami a few years back prior to 2012 that recorded a change. Since then many people don't look as big as they weigh in my opinion , from what I remember.

I'm not sure if yesterday's launch of Mr.Jeff bezos rocket is posted yet. The data feed was amazing watching the speed up then return speeds down. That data feed was a great observation add on.

"Added gravity to the room"?  What does that mean?
It was bad that I wrote that bit. He broke the records that were forever prior to that time , a long history of baseball. I meant that the balls are put through a series of tests , then allowed to be game balls if they pass the tests. Altering the test environment could alter the test results and provide balls that might fly out of the park more easily is a statement I don't really want out there. After all I was going to own two debut signed balls for a record smashing pro star of baseball.

The ball looked like this one. Now he has 3 games left to break more records. He tied the N.L. rookie homeruns before the all-star break last night. There is no reasonable reason for his not being in the all-star game.

I believe a time traveller got the ball two or more weeks after I paid for it but he might be from far in the future. Not very fair as the records keep coming from Mr. Trevor Story.

I can't find the record holder of the most multi home runs games by a rookie , in a season or by the all star break.

I am a bit curious to the feelings of us, at this forum on this question of purchasing momentos of great events by time travellers. Hindsight being 20/20 they know exactly what objects to buy. If Mr. Klitschko had been boxing last night they may have bought the program. The items could be placed in a storage facility and a reasonable fee for years of storage prepaid. They don't need to bring it back they just need to return and claim their purchase.

At this point of following the career of Mr. Trevor Story , I can imagine the old days of limited TV coverage of baseball. Newspapers and idle chat over coffee would would be telling the " Did you see That...." , and the next day there would be more.

I am surprised that some billionaire that missed their oppertunity at this great balls hasn't thought how great of a feeling this is to be regular guy. To look at the paper then glance at that ball and follow along daily. Maybe they think there's a reset button and can live it out again some other time. I'm thinking of a microsoft or H.P. buying a small condo near their Toronto location for me and offering a job for ten years with pension and descent pay and bunch of money. It's still july and there's still a couple of months entertainment to share with a family member or just enjoy themselves, kind of a trade off, ball for work and security till retirement.

As a homeless guy watching the balls value going up is cool. Following the events with this item , just adds to it all.

I should have blogged this one except friday, saturday, sunday, homeruns and a game tonight deserved a mention.

Although Mr. Story broke many records the importance may go away with the short career. The surgery he will get might never help. The end of the rookie year before breaking the big totals of a complete first year , a solid 150 games won't ever be known. After not getting into the all-star game , the possibility of rookie of the year seems smaller. He has a chance if named rookie of the month for July but now that he's out for the season since before July ended and did not play in the all-star game, it is unlikely. Other players had nearly 30 games in last year's season to know the big show of mlb but he stepped up April of this year for his first appearance. What a memorable start, beyond expectations or hopes.

The confusion of time travel tourists going back to follow his games or history , when it was so short doesn't make sense at this time. The future must have known the injury, occurrence date. The biggest named players must be drawing the most time travel event participation. Imagine if ten percent of the stands capacity was filled by time travellers.

I played dumb yesterday on the last post. It lead to an exposure of the truth that should be investigated by time travellers .

There was a week off in july so no rookies made numbers to count leaving three weeks close to four for the month to use.

Mr Story won player of the week over the entire league. He led in homeruns for the entire league. His defense in double plays totals was great. Usually S.S. runs as a captain of infield and their team numbers went from non contenders to now real contenders. The amount of hits that were game winners was noteworthy and getting into scoring position then scoring the winning run would be noteworthy. Not making the allstar team was in itself a joke and needs investigated, term allstar. One stretch of homeruns had him at 6 in 7 days.

The math - he wins n.l. player of the week. the rest of rookies , the following weeks need 2 of the months weeks to make up for just that feat alone. The defense shown and the game winning hits and team winning record from the allstar break , meaning his leadership during the period was top quality. So for anyone mathmatically to prove dominance over the Trevor Story July 2016 as rookie of the month is not possible. Only twisted minds could pull this one over on the public.

You have been caught and the time travellers witnessed it. This thread was about Laws . I'm not a time traveller but I believe they are here , watching , to catch cheats later.

There was a recent induction ceremony to the Baseball hall of fame and one of the inductees was very famous. In every sportscast that I heard , it was mentioned that he appeared in 13 allstar games. 13 times allstar they reported. It was made clear that this is a status that is credible maybe even critical to being inducted into the hall of fame.

Mr Story did not get into the allstar game. The sportswriters stood down without criticism of this injustice. When the one rookie had an error during the allstar game and the half of the inning ended , the broadcaster that had earned his position calling the game mentioned the word Story in a sentence and immediately they went to a commercial break. When the break ended both commentators used the word Story in sentences. I would have liked to have been there hearing what was going on to (at, against) those two commentators , broadcasters , reporters , that had earned their participation role in the allstar game during the commercial break. It must have been a very loud , angered moment for both to come back on the air and defy management.

Maybe I just have read too much into the whole subject.

I live in toronto where Mr. 2Lo , Mr Tulowitski is playing daily. In order for rockies to have allowed his leaving the team , they had to have a great player coming up. Mr. Tulowitski got a solid shot at a world series and might get another this year. He came back to Coor's field in front of thousands of fans delighted to say cheers to him. It was his night. Mr. Story , the man replacing Mr. Tulowitski in his position stood down from the attention getting. In my opinion that was a very respectful moment in sports history .

Maybe I just have read too much into the whole subject. Sportswriters , reporters , are you going to mind control us or dictate thought or will you finally stand up together united . You can't go back and fix what has happened but together you can all complain and call it like it really was. Remember that the time travel experience would be costly. The stands might have been full of future sports commentators and players. They have games recorded and stats documenting the entire games now.

I just realized that Padres are california market place. My mistake about these last few posts and will just "Shut Up" about Laws and rules for time travel tourism in the future. California rules

The contender to take mlb rookie of the year has tied mr. Story R.B.I. totals . Mr. Story got 72 Rbi in 97 games I believe and the contender took 136 games I think. The exact numbers are pretty much that far apart. He should catch up in home runs pretty soon.
