Time Travelling

I know for a fact 99.9% of you won't believe what I'm about to say, but yes, I am from 2487. In a way I did travel in time, but not physically. In my timeline we have websites on the internet (Time servers) which allow us to talk to people in other times (Don't ask me how this works, I'm not a genius). Yes, time travel is possible nowadays but it is only used in time agencys. You can ask me all the questions you want, but remember I'm not that smart, I dropped out of school when I was 13. Maths, Science and History were never my strong points, so don't expect me to know everything about your timeline.

-how your people got over the infertility problem around year 2400?

-why you are here in this timeline?

-Why you dropped the school?

I wasn't aware there was an infertility problem around the year 2400?

-why you are here in this timeline?
I'm in this timeline, cos' I'm bored on the internet with nothing better to do, and wanted to learn abit about 2008.

-Why you dropped the school?
I started my own businesses and couldn't cope with both school and my businesses, so I dropped out. In 2473, You are allowed to leave school as long as you are earning money and providing for yourself.

Standard test for a person claiming to be posting from the future:

Go back to the date of 15 March, and post a new thread with the title "My name is Brandon. Do you believe me now?"

When we see it show up with a server date of 15 March (10 days ago) we might believe you.

That would be pretty hard, since the time server can't go to a specific date, it only goes back to the year.
To be honest, I don't care what you believe, I'm not here to impress you or make you believe from the future. I'm here to learn what the internet was like on 2008.

You are failing in your story (hoax) from the get-go. We are pros around here. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Excuse #1. But that's alright, we are a flexible lot around here. Simply go back to 2007 (ANY day in 2007) and submit a post with the same title I just gave you above. Now that gets around the "only goes back to the year." (Which I could make more observations about, but I will save those).

OK, go! I will look for the message from 2007 now...

Sure...and you also have a bridge to sell in Brookyln.

My English cousin, if your intention was to learn about the Internet circa 2008 all you need have done was to log onto the Internet. No mention of time travel, no posting of any sort. Just log on - do some research. Lurk on a site or two.

No need for the quasi-Titorisms "I know you won't believe me, I don't care if you believe me" etc. That ploy is about as hackneyed as a banality can get after 7 1/4 years and a kazillion attempts to use it.

But you did. Of course you care. Of course you want to be believed. It's not going to happen...of course. But you'll try to get your 15 minutes of "fame" and see if you can get at least one member to go along with the gag so you can have a good hee-haw at their expense.

Good luck and ultimately good bye mate. It was nice having you aboard for 15 minutes or so but I personally don't have time anymore for the OETW's (Pronounced in a childlike voice "Oh, (m)e too!" - the "m" is very soft, almost undetectable - but the acronym stands for Once Every Two Weeks (a new wannabe time traveler comes along here).

OETW is announced by the wannabe time traveler with hands waving at the forum members while jumping up and down in an effort to get their attention..."Oh, me too - me too, Yoo hoo. Hey. Look at me. I got a lame story that you won't believe." Sure enough - we won't.

Is this your time server?...

Because of this coincidence, I would like to declassify "my own" private message:

...welcome to Time Travel Institute.

Do you own this Time Server you are using?

Is this site not a Time Server? /sarcasm by Cubikdice 03/25/08 02:10 PM

I did not get a direct answere as it was emphasized with sarcasm...
Spooky... Enstead of thinking "our visitors" are nonesensical for a change, they're SPOOKY!
Why do I get the feeling of being tooled? What is it with these Anons and their questionable motives? Anyone relate with these feelings 'before'?
