I have successfully built a prototype time machine! While working on a complex machine which involved analyzing the interaction of phase-modulated electromagnetic waves with various crystal structures, I found that the energy is not immediately dissipated from the crystal and can thus be amplified indefinitely. By rotating the field instead of simply pulsing it in one direction, the residual electromagnetic field becomes ever stronger until relativistic effects become apparent (time passes slower near the device). Following that, a blue glow develops around the crystal and time begins to reverse. So far I have travelled back 3 hours, and it took me 2 hours to do so. The next step is to scale up the machine so that I can more quickly travel back in time. A great day for science!
