time travel happens

Temporal Novice
Hello, everyone. This is my first experience with this forum. I linked from The Cronus Collection, and was intrigued by the John <font color="blue"> [/COLOR] Titor story. I don't really know enough yet to make any determination of Mr. Titor's claims. Very interesting in their specificity, though, and I can see many of the assertations he makes are, or could be based in reality. Time will tell.
In the meantime, I would like to draw attention to an old science fiction anthology:"Adventures in Time and Space", published by Random House of New York, with a copyright date of 1946. In this book, among many classic fiction works, are two stories stated as being actual. One, "V-2-Rocket Cargo Ship", is the story of the development of Germanys rocketry program. The other, titled:"Time Travel Happens!", is the account of two English women, who, while vacationing in France, experienced some sort of temporal anomaly. According to the author, one A.M. Phillips, these women crossed a bridge, and found themselves in the same geographical location, but one hundred years earlier. I read this story with skepticism, as a younger man, but as the story progressed, I was struck by it's authenticity, due to the authors care in reciting the details of the case. If anyone else has read this, I would be interested to hear other opinions. It seems that time travel occurs sometimes without the consent, or even the knowledge, of the traveler, at least until they are fully immersed. Is there any other evidence of spontaneous, unwitting time travel? I ask in the hope of understanding.
Sincerely, praxis
