Time travel....as easy as driving down the road.

Dimensional Traveler
I was surfing the net and came across a bunch of little links on time travel.. basically time slips . It seemed none of the incidents required any hugh amount of energy but they simple walked into another dimension or drove through one. If it is so naturally occuring on Earth from time to time then it cannot be so hard or take the tremendous amounts of energy as scientists say would be required. Anyway I found them interesting. Maybe you will also. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

people's time experiences

Hi Pamela,

I haven't fully think it through yet. But please give me some time to think the whole concept together. Once I have finalized my thoughts I will tell you in that time = gravity thread. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I had read most of those stories about a year ago when I first starting searching for evidence of time travel. After my son died a good friend (devout Christian) was visiting with me and I told her I was going to study the Bible too see if there was evidence of time travel. (Besides all the other things I needed to learn, of course.) She seemed taken back for a second, then she said that her mother had had an experience a couple of years before that might qualify for what I was looking for. She said her mom and a friend were making a trip and had sketchy directions, so they stopped at a little run down convenience store and asked an elderly man to guide them toward their destination. He sent them down the road a ways, but she said the road he told them about dead ended, so they had to head back where they had come from. She said her mom was a little upset because it had turned into quite a drive. She said when they got back to where they had gotten their directions, the building and the man and all were gone like they had never been there. She thought she was going crazy or something. She had forgotten the incident until I started talking about how time traveling would alter things for today.

I've know this friend and her mom for ten years and they aren't whacko's and they had probably never even thought about time travel other than in sci fi movies. When she told me this story I felt sure that past times are changeable or maleable in some way.

Have you ever experienced about little things disappearing on you? I have. Small things like pins, tacks, staples, rubber bands, etc.. in that category. At first i thought i misplaced them or whatnot, but only to look further and start noticing a few things like that gone-

I ignored the 'disappearances' of these items until a major item disappeared- a refrigerator magnet picture of my nieces which was stuck on the refrigerator. Hmm. I thought it must have been me or something then later other small things disappeared as well.

I started getting this migraine headache at the same time as well. I thought maybe i was about ready to suffer some mental problems or something which was causing me to forget things? ...

Until that next morning after I found out the refrigerator picture disappeared, I had this terrible nose bleed when I woke up from my bed, only to discover pins, tacks, staples, etc were laying right under me- I got up from the bed, these little things sticking into my back, etc..

I was wondering if time slip has something to do with this? Or did I just go looney tunes not remembering what I did? I am a rational person who believe in God and don't do drugs, etc-

I dont know.. any thoughts that could help me out on this?

Paradox-

Well you're probably just crazy. It's more likely that you collected pins and needles and slept with them than it is that time was manipulated. However, it's possible. Just don't go near any sharp objects. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hello everyone... My thoughts on this subject come from personal experience. What if when we think we see "ghosts" we are actually viewing the imprint of another time? When I was about 8 or 9 years old, my parents and I moved into the upper floor of a house that had been made into a duplex. I was sleeping in my bed one night and I had a nightmare about being covered in spiders. (Not sure the relevance of the dream...) I woke up suddenly and looked out into the hallway which was directly in front of my bed and I saw an old man pushing an old woman in an antique-looking wheelchair down the hallway. I watched for a minute, I felt like I was frozen. Then I just started screaming for my parents. My mom came into the room and I explained to her what happened. She kept trying to convince me that it was all a dream. I knew, however, that what I saw was real, these people were solid, not transparent like ghosts. I couldn't have possibly imagined it. Several years later, long after we moved out of the house, my mother and I ran into our old landlord. (At that time I was about 14) Mom started talking him and basically made fun of me for still

My other post got cut off....
Mom started talking him and basically made fun of me for still being afraid of the house. She told him the story I had told her. He looked really confused, almost frightened. He said his parents owned the house and his mother was in a wheelchair before she died. Creepy... Like I said though, I am not so sure they were "ghosts" but maybe for a moment, I had a glance into a different time. Any thoughts?

Hi melroxanne,

What you saw was not Time Travel incident.

The following is copy and pasted from an article...

Is there such a thing as ghosts? The answer to this question depends on what precisely is meant by the term “ghosts.” If the term means “spirit beings,” the answer is a qualified “yes.” If the term means “spirits of people who have died,” the answer is “no.” The Bible makes it abundantly clear that there are spirit beings, both good and evil. But the Bible negates the idea that the spirits of deceased human beings can remain on earth and “haunt” the living.

The closest biblical example of a “haunting” is found in Mark 5:1-20. A legion of demons possessed a man and used the man to haunt a graveyard. There were no ghosts involved. It was a case of a normal person being controlled by demons to terrorize the people of that area. Demons only seek to “kill, steal, and destroy” (John 10:10). They will do anything within their power to deceive people, to lead people away from God. This is very likely the explanation of “ghostly” activity today. Whether it is called a ghost, a ghoul, or a poltergeist, if there is genuine evil spiritual activity occurring, it is the work of demons.

I don't know but I sure have heard hundreds of stories like yours and painthorses.
Its almost like the place may record the energy or something. I mean its not like you see things
that are out of place but things that have happened there at one time.

Because I am wondering why people never see events of future things that happen in the house.
Or maybe they have and I have not read of any yet.

Ok, it sounds to me like you are talking about some evil beings or presences that some people refer to as "ghosts" or "poltergeists" or what-have-you. I am referring to something different. I didn't interact with these people. They weren't "haunting" me. It was like a glance back in time. Like I saw them in the hallway as they were. Not as "ghosts" or "spirits" or "demons". (Demons /ttiforum/images/graemlins/devil.gif, really? They were two elderly people.) As I stated earlier, it was like looking at an imprint left by them, a solid real-looking imprint. I'm not sure it involved "time travel" at all whatsoever. I am just raising the question that maybe you leave an imprint on something if it has been with you for a while. Let's take a house for example. You live in a house for 30 years. You die in that house. Something of you is left in that house! I'm oblivious to the conditions necessary to be able see this "imprint" but I am just a little unsure of the whole ghost theory (or demon theory for that matter). I am just raising the question... Could this be a glance back in time more so than a haunting. I mean I didnt communicate with these people. They didn't move things in my house, I didnt sense any hostility. Hell, they were walking by as if I wasn't even there... I dont know what it really was but this incident has been weighing on me for 20 years. I am just hoping for some new insight to explain it. I mean nothing like this has ever happened to me again.... I just don't get it.

Pamela,

Here is a link about a time slip into the future...

http://paranormal.about.com/od/timeanddimensiontravel/a/aa012306_3.htm

An exerpt:
Daisy and her friend Rick were driving to another friend’s house in September of 2004 in Rick's beat up old truck. “Suddenly, the truck's engine died and Rick and I were stranded on a deserted highway in the middle of the night,” Daisy says. "We were surrounded on both sides of the road by cornfields that stretched into the distance.

“Rick began a desperate effort to restart the truck, but nothing seemed to work. We decided to walk to the nearest town about two miles away to find a payphone to call our friend. We walked for what seemed like hours and the town was nowhere in sight.

“However, just when desperation was about to grip us, we saw a light, a gloriously bright light, shining over the steep hill ahead of us. We ran up the hill that blocked us from the light and were flabbergasted by what we saw. Just over the hill, Rick and I saw what could only be described as a futuristic city with lights streaming out of every window of the massive, metallic towers. In the middle of the futuristic city was a huge silver dome.

“I stared at the city, stunned, until Rick elbowed me, which pulled me out of my trance and he pointed to the sky. Hovering above the city were hundreds of hovercraft. One flew toward us with amazing speed.

“Rick and I were so scared that we took off running back to the broken down truck. I never looked back, but I felt someone watching me the whole way. When we got back to the truck, it started without difficulty. Rick and I took off as fast as we could in the opposite direction. We never went back or spoke of it again to this day.”

Maybe it is possible... I certainly think it would be interesting to just have a glance into the future. Maybe the key to time travel lies in these "time slips". Thoughts?

That's very interesting. It would be hard to tell though if what they saw was actually the future or some kind of parallel world that briefly opened to allow the ships in. And in all reality it still could have been a past society. There is so much more to this world than we could ever imagine.

Ya, things can go missing in the dew grass of the night, like allen wrenches and odd ball things like cotton balls to wipe off the optics of the finder scope. (dab the wretched wetness away.)

In the fog of the night while the sky was clearing until the fog kept coming, hope this dampness clears off a little next month.

But for those so inclined to seek skys like the dreaded Enchanted Skies Star Party in New Mexico (curse, curse, curse) here is a list of down the road - different time-travel events.

Oh, don't I just hate the view down there in NM
actually saw slides a few years ago (1992) from someone doing astrophotography from NM, and he was applauded and asked to show his slides again. Before the day of digital camera, when a person had to track for a couple hours perhaps to get an image on a camera, and developed his own slides.

Not an endorsement of any such nice sky place in the USA.

Back to the dew fog infested skys lately around where I live.

Well, it is sunny out finally for awhile starting today.

Time-travel!
