time travel and consciousness

I am very new to this topic but extremely interested. I was looking at some stuff earlier about pre-cognition in the human consciousness and was wondering if there is at all any link with time travel. I think about time travel a lot and wonder at possiblities and coincidences if it were possible. Anyone who knows more than I do about the topic could you please fill me in and what is the possiblity of time travel in this lifetime. Did the American Government ever experiment with time travel and what is the possiblity of something related to it existing now. I have heard some things but I feel like I can never seriously question or ask anyone about anything because they would think I have a few screws loose.

The first thing you must learn about time travel is it come in two main forms:

A.) Mental, of the mind or spirit.

B.) Physical, of the body or material mass.

The rules for one are not the rules for the other. Too always keep in mind that it may all be a bunch of baloney. But at least know whether you are trying to figure what has/will hapen in a different time or if you are expecting to pack your PC back to 1955 and sell it to IBM.....absolutly two different subjects

You or I might hope to catch a glimps of another time but to transport an object or person beyond the natural barrier of NOW (if possible) could be expected to cost millions of dollars and lifetimes of work and learning. With that invested would you give or even sell the capability to just anybody?

I've been VERY wrong before but I would no more expect to discover physical time travel than I would expect to purchase a suitcase nuke at Walmart. Time travel is an intelectual pursuit....enjoy it or take up gardening or the like.
