It has occured to me that after entering a state in which we could travel across time as well as the other three dimensions we experience, we would surely still experience the next-highest dimension in a way similar to the way we experience time onw.

Time is not in a fourth, rather a sixteenth.

And yes you are right, afterwards we would all experience the B'therack difference state of transessential counsciousness.

until later becomes now

Theory: If timetravel became commonplace, it would become obsolete. Once humans can traverse time easily, time will become irrelevant and a new equivalent to time (5th dimension) would appear. We could continue breaking dimensions for as long as we wanted, but if inter-dimensional travel became commonplace, it would all be for naught.
