Time Bandits is an excellent movie!
It's one of those Terry Gilliam surrealist epics (like Brazil and the Fisher King), but more sckewed towards a younger and more commercial audience. It's got a lot of famous names in small roles (like Sean Connery). It's kind of a sad story, but also very entertaining.
