Thoughts on General Relativity through Tesla

The other day I was reading about Nikola Tesla, you know, that guy who invented radio. Wikipedia has this hilarious quote where Tesla starts ripping on the curving of space-time fabric that Albert Einstein's theory of General Relativity relies upon. Check it out:

"I hold that space cannot be curved, for the simple reason that it can have no properties. It might as well be said that God has properties. He has not, but only attributes and these are of our own making. Of properties we can only speak when dealing with matter filling the space. To say that in the presence of large bodies space becomes curved is equivalent to stating that something can act upon nothing. I, for one, refuse to subscribe to such a view."

I don't care what anyone says, this guy had serious balls. Thoughts?

Well problem is it did not prove what he said to the academic community. Tesla was very smart but he was pretty much a mavrick who did his own thing. I wish he could of gone thru with his energy plans. I would of loved to see how that worked out. And, I still want to know what was in his worked that the goverment took upon his death.
 
Yeah he said he was working on a unified field theory of his own, but is was never published. He died like a year after he announced all the detail were worked out. I think he might have been onto something though. Einstein's theory of General Relativity doesn't work with particles on the atomic level, where quantum physics does. Tesla was very much a showman, but only because he knew of his own genius. I wouldn't write the man off just yet.
