Who is excited about season 5 starting on Sunday?

That trailer gives me instant goosebumps. I saw another trailer with Daryl and Carol alone in the dark. I'm hoping it means what I think it means. Beth annoys me! She's a cheerleader, not a survivor.

It's good to see that Rick hasn't gone completely crazy as well.

Also, I heard that Walking Dead was already renewed for season 6.

Thoughts?

 
Well, I have kind of drifted away from this show. I watched it during the first few seasons, but then characters that I grew to like started to be killed off. I know this is bound to happen on a show like this. But even Andrea who is sitll alive in the comics from what I have heard was killed off the show. Now I heard reports that Beth was killed this past season along with Tyreese. I guess there is really no reason to go back to watching, before long there will be all new characters battling the zombies.

 
I still like the show. I think I always will. The writers know the rule - do NOT kill Daryl. LOL. Daryl wasn't even in the comic. They said they have to change the comic's story a bit to fit him in the show, but people like him so much that they don't want to get rid of him. I also heard that Abraham was one of Rick's right hand men (after Tyrese) in the comic. Right now, he's part of the group, but doesn't do much with Rick.

And watch for the upcoming Walking Dead spinoff series.......

 
i am so excited every episode that is being created on the series. i love the way they film and the way the make up those zombie things. Full of thrills

I can't believe the season is almost over!!!!
My only complaint -- Carol has become so strong, yet they gave her a house wife role in the new community. Should could do so much more. I wonder how it was written in the comic book. Does anyone know?

its just the TV series keep and make us full of surprises. the director is talented to make those thrills.I guess they would renew for a new season so dont you worry, season 6 would soon be in :D

Hahaha he's not fooling me! I'm surprised Glenn, being as experienced as he is now, (well, all of them actually) didn't call bullshit on this guy.

No spoilers for you, sir!!! I'm still not sure what the whole purpose of the priest is other than being lazy and annoying. Maybe he was introduced to show how easy people lose faith. I don't know. I didn't read the comic. (Is he in the comic)? He contributes nothing to the group. Heard the actor just go a DUI, though:

Yeah, I read that the priest was arrested this morning. I like that actor, he played Officer Clayton Hughes on the series Oz (big fan here). Anyway, I haven't watched season five past episode 4. I don't like "involuntary" spoils lol. I don't care when I need to know something though. I already searched about Eugene and confirmed what I thought about him.. :rolleyes:

He's an ok actor, but the character itself is annoying. hehe.
So, you do like self inflicted spoilers? LOL.

 
Show is good only at specific times. Many episodes feel like fillers until mid-season finale and grand finale. To be honest I got bored of it around the middle of season 5 but my friend told me that's exactly when episodes got better, need to catch up soon I guess.

Ok, I don't want to ruin it for those who have not seen this latest season with Alpha, Beta, a freed Negan, etc.

I just feel the show is getting weak and as much as I have enjoyed it, I feel they should give us an awesome ending and be done with it.

It just isn't the same without Rick. There seems to be lack of leadership, now. Even the "King" Ezekeal (Sp?) is weak. (I liked it better when he and carol ruled the "kingdom").

This lack of organization is leading to very sloppy battles. They should have this down by now.... after you've been battling zombies and enemies for so long, you should have a huge fortress by now, like in the middle ages. It should be a piece of cake.

Is this how it is in the comic book?

It just feels all the tough characters are now wimps. They all make speeches and miss destroying the enemy. That drives me NUTS.

Once, Rick had a clear shot of Negan, but because he had to give a speech, he missed his chance to pop him.

I don't know.... the show just isn't the same anymore. Every season is the same formula -- antagonist harrasses them, they battle back and forth, then a war at the end. The minute that battle ends, the new enemy is already there.
