Did the early universe have just one dimension?

So a crazy theory I have, the link between quantum mechanics and general relativity is a complex medium. This medium is the cause of quantum physics properties. The Energies of the sub-particles can travel into the medium and exit outside in a different location, just as natural numbers are a super-set of complex numbers. The numbers move in and out of each sub-set and similarly, the energy of the sub-particles would travel in and out of the universe. Just a thought.

Strange behavior of quantum particles may indicate the existence of other parallel universes

The first article was published two years before the Higgs boson was discovered in 2012.

About as close as I can come to imagining a universe with a single dimensional beginning is by envisioning ours as a thin membrane. Thin in that context, however, is far from flat.

The fact that I did imagine Poirier's "Many Interacting Worlds" theory more interesting than is it did make the second article all the more enjoyable.

Thanks, UTSA210.
