The Time Travelers Convention -- the musical

Hey, all. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif My name is Heidi and I'm a writer. I'm sure most of you have heard of the time travelers convention held at MIT in 2005. Well, myself and my collaborator, Mike Pettry, wrote a musical inspired by the concept. It's about a group of college kids who all have something they want to change about their pasts. They hold a convention in the hopes that a time traveler will arrive with a time machine they can borrow.

The show goes up in New York City on October 1st at CAP21. It's free, and if anyone from this site would like to attend, we'd be honored to have you. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'm sorry to just pop on here, join up, and post a bit of an advert about my show, but we need all the support we can get, and we think it's a pretty cool show, and besides -- I consider myself the geekiest female musical theatre writer out there. where better for me to seek an audience than an awesomely geeky site like this? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

:D It's funny, i'm actually in the process of trying to make a music video of it in 2nd Life (dorky, i know, but hey!) so that i can post it on youtube. : )

But if i can't find another steady actor (with a good enough video card) in time, a slide show is a great idea!
