Any data about Comet ISON or Pope Francis have you seen on the net before it came out to the public?

A team of scientists searching for evidence of time travellers from the future have drawn a blank, but stress that it may just be because they are “good at covering their tracks”.Robert Nemiroff and Teresa Wilson from Michigan Technological University’s physics department developed a strategy for tracking down time travellers by trawling the internet for references to prescient information posted before it should be possible. For instance, they searched for mentions of “Comet ISON” prior to its discovery in September 2012, theorising that it was a large enough event that it would be known to those even far in the future and possibly mentioned online by accident after they travelled back in time.

Similarly, they looked for mentions of “Pope Francis” proper to March 2013, as the current pontiff is the first to have ever had the name.

The researchers scoured popular search engines such as Google, but also turned to Twitter and Facebook.

Somebody on the God-Like-Production forum predicted that the Pope chosen after the retirement of Pope Benedict XVI would be from Argentina. This person also predicted that Pope Francis will be the last ever Pope. However, I should point out that the person who made these predictions did not attribute it to time-travel or any kind of psychic power but rather to reliable and close contacts within the Vatican.

Don't know about any predictions regarding the selection of a Pope from Argentina - however, within theological circles (before the selection of Pope Francis) it was widely thought that the next Pope would be from that region of the World.

Unless the person making the prediction on God-Like Productions about the last Pope is Saint Malachy, then that person has merely quoted the Archbishop who wrote the "Prophecy of the Popes" in the 12th Century.
