The \"Quantum Leap\" Theory

I am new to this forum and have been interested in time travel for quite some time. I admit it would be great to travel far into the past or future, but I feel that someday it might be more possible to time travel, like the TV show Quantum Leap, within ones own lifetime. Any ideas?

Re: The \"Quantum Leap\" Theory

I just saw an episode of that show on sci-fi today. It happened to be the one where the dude mentions his quantum leap theory. That show is kinda cool, but it got boring once I noticed he would never go into the far future, because he was limited to his own lifetime.

I would think viewing the past or future would be more probable than actually travelling or interacting with the past or future.

Hey if anyone cares, the sci-fi channel is aka the hoax channel. Not that it's not obvious but sci-fi hires actors in their TV shows, such as "ghost hunters", they pretend to be looking for ghosts, the evidence in that show is scripted and faked. Another bit of sci-fi channel info, they recently hired Dan Akroyd to host a new UFO investigation show, and then they fired him before the show ever went on the air. As I heard, they fired him without a reason. Not that I'm a UFO fan, but perhaps Dan didn't want to play along in their hoaxes. I assume he takes the topic seriously, his brother is known to be a real life ghost hunter, that may have been another related reason.
