UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania, September 7, 2007 (ENS) - Scientists are homing in on a possible cause of the new bee disease known as colony collapse disorder, linking it with a virus from Israel that may have arrived in the United States via shipments of live bees from Australia.

Since it was first reported in 2004, colony collapse disorder, CCD, has affected 23 percent of the commercial bee colonies in the United States, causing losses of from 50 to 90 percent of the bees in each colony.

This is what happens when the animal kingdom starts losing its collective. They blame it on a virus or whatever they want to blame it on. In a collective in each animal species, it is heavily relied upon it. Once it gets cut off due to various potential reasons, that type of species will die off fast. It cannot survive without it's collective. It becomes extinct. So a large group of bees started dying off, apparently that type of bees are almost extinct or maybe now it is.

One thing I have noticed, that the smallest collective, the 'ANT' is starting to lose it as well. There were reports I read somewhere sometime ago on the internet that literatelly millions of ants were washed up on a beach somehow. I believe that type of 'ant' species was the first to go.

All animals have it's own species "record". A 'Ant' is a part of a species group. There are millions of types of ant species, all according to it's "DNA Grouping". Its also known as a 'race', like as example we have black, white, indian and oriental people.

I am so certain that somehow, some virus will be able to wipe a species off the map, someday. A virus that 'turns off' a species' collective.

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) - Jerry Seinfeld's trip to the Holy Land got so much hype it rivaled news of key upcoming Mideast talks.

The Jewish comic visited Israel for the first time in decades to promote his new animated movie about bees, and he was treated like royalty - literally.

Few entertainers get to meet both the Israeli prime minister and president. Seinfeld saw both, as well as touring the official Israeli Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem - the route taken by visiting world leaders.

Newspapers devoted nearly full-pages to his trip. And references to his humor crept into serious items in the news.

"Yada, yada, yada," said TV political analyst Amnon Abramovitz Sunday about the Mideast meeting called by President Bush, quoting one of the best-known phrases from Seinfeld's TV show.

Seinfeld, who arrived Friday and left Sunday, was in Israel as part of a world tour to promote his film, "Bee Movie," his first major project since the end of his TV series.
