First I would like to thank you for reading this post.

----The following events will occur before January 1st 2010.----

CERN will release news of its newest ambition with the LHC. The experiment will take place within the second quarter of 2010.

In the United States, the Health Care Reform Bill will face plans for revision before being fully implemented.

Somali pirates kill two people. Ransom refused.

New negotiations with Iran are planned for 2010 to prevent further weapons testing.

11.29.09 Atlanta, Miami, Cincinnati, Seattle, Carolina, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, San Diego, San Francisco, Tennessee, Minnesota, Baltimore.

Nuclear battery implemented in mobile electronics.

New breed of imaging display to replace lcd and plasma.

Magnetic stripe credit cards will undergo change due to security issues.

Death toll in Iraq and Afghanistan will suddenly become more frequent, leading to more military deployed into certain trouble regions.

President Barack Obama will apologize for economy and aspects of legislature.

There's not a single item here that is not either already on the cards....or quite likely to occur

Now if you told me that the 09.37 from Waterloo to Paris on Thursday December 17th will break down inside the Channel Tunnel for 5 hours and a famous pop star will give birth on board while this happens, and that Art Bell was also on board and missed a Paris radio station talk on John Titor.......and all THAT came true.......then I might do something other than yawn.

I'm happy to see that some of you replied to my post.

This was an experiment to see how accurately I could predict something, and yes, most of these are already in the cards.

I'm not claiming to be psychic or a time traveller, I am simply making an attempt at predicting a future event.

Many people feel that John Titors predictions were based on information that was readily available, although some of his predictions never came to pass whether it was a hoax or just was not going to happen in this timeline.

I would like to see some of your predictions of the future if you wouldn't mind joining this little experiment.
 
I predict.... Laptops with transparent screens..We wont see the black backings or any chips...just a flip up clear window that will light up to display our screen data as per normal...with the exception of being a transparent screen...

Um... A plane crash killing many in December..

The US economy getting MUCH worse in 10... Gas at 6 a gallon... No body traveling if they can at all avoid it...save for the rich who will be looked down upon as flaunting their wealth...basically when folks see strangers it will be assumed they got money ...

US citizens will try to leave the US for greener pastures abroad ...and they will be stuck in the US unable to leave, stopped by US border patrol.... Illegal immigrate into the nation will cease to be a problem...out of will be the issue...

...hmm what else....

Civil unrest...THat one is always relevant.....

in 10 the mississpi will flood over its banks ...it will be nation wide news.

EDIT TO ADD... I agree that Obama will do something awful...Something that will cause severe back lash causing him lower approval ratings than bush. Lots and lots of backlash. I would bet it would be around his next election ..despite it he will still get re-elected.

OK I took a shot at it just for the sake of it :D

i know a major plane crash will occur on December 21st '09. Even if that doesn't happen, then most likely everything changed again. I just feel it, but its a great feeling to know I am probably 95% wrong and 5% right! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I predict that the US will recieve an economic boost in 2010 before diving back into a recession due to racking up trillions in debt trying to stimulate the economy. Gas prices will skyrocket and unemployment will shoot up higher than it is today.

I am by no means a psychic, nor do I wish this to happen, but to me it seems this may be the path we are going down...

It seems like you all just want your fears to account to something. That your worst nightmares will truly come true and you will have not lost sleep over nothing. Well I got bad news for you. Your opinions on gold, the future global crisis (pick one) will account for nothing. The world will go on, with or without the crisis you layout. Take care of your family. That's really all you have control over, and that is even tenuous.

Leave money matters to the crooks, they are better at it. When no one pays them back, they will be in the same boat you are. Take heart. Humanity is far better at shaking out the riff-raff than any one person can be.

Wow, you are one sour person mr/miss taffyapple... I don't think anyone wants their fears to account for something or to turn out to be truth... If you will actually read the entire thread, you will notice that there is a post above by Displaced_0 that distinctly says this is an experiment to see how accurately he could predict something and he invited the rest of us to join his experiment so if you are truly buying that all of the predictions on here are heartfelt prophesy, maybe you need to give yourself a break there buddy...
 
I predict in late 2009 Taffyapple will finally pass that stone, but shortly after due to redwine increasing the level of ammonia in taffyapples urine mixing with the bleach used to clean the toilet the night before resulting in a cloud of chlorine gas. Please, for everyones sake around you, crack a window next time you use the toilet.

Nah, as for 2010... economy will get better at the end of the year. Health Care Reform will pass before election 2010. Republicans will win more seats in House and Senate but won't effect Obama's re-election in 2012, he'll win. But watch out for assassination attempts in his second term.
