"It is common known fact that a star's light reaches us only after a time equal to the distance in light-years betwen it and us.That distance being diffrent for each star,next time you look the stars in the sky (maybe tonnight) be aware that you actually see multiple, different and wonderfull pasts, in the same time

Of course, when/if we'll be able to travel faster than light we'll be also able to look back towards our own Earth and see "live" events of its past
