Well after spending several hours going through old posts etc..I have to say, I'm really disappointed that this is not a more serious group.
Looks like a place for people to give their alter ego's a workout.

I have had some wierd experiences regarding my Son. I believe he was contacted by someone from his future last week while at a public restroom. He is only 9 but the whole experience has been eerie.
It's one of a few eerie events regarding my Son and his future. It has me researching the possibilities of the "paranormal" again and John Titor's name kept coming to mind.

Anyway, I'll modify my profile to include an email address. If there are any SERIOUS ONLY folks out there that can lead me to some GOOD info. and research, I'd appreciate it.
All Ego Maniacs please don't bother. I have my hands full enough as it is.

It is a serious group. However, a sense of humor has to be maintained with most things in life.
As far as the ego's go, most of the scientist I know also have large egos. It does not discount their ability to provide information to problems or to solve many of lifes riddles.

Do you like the weather satelite photos...a good friend ( Malonosky ) was in charge of the design of that technology, and his ego in scientific realms is somewhat inflated. ( Hope he never reads this...) but am able to see beyond his ( or mine ) ego as we work together to find answers to lifes many mysteries.
 
I completely agree!

My own father has quite the ego. He worked as one of AT&T's satellite transmission pioneers, and actually managed both Claude Shannon and Richard Hamming for awhile at Bell Labs. But ego or not, the majority of satellite transceiver designs of today are based on his original work.

What really turned things on their head was, after all the years of his "preaching" to me about the sanctity & righteousness of the Roman Catholic Church, he really changed his tune when I began to introduce him to the concepts of Qabalah. Just reading The Celestine Prophecy and the Conversations With God book series was enough to get him to question his prior beliefs about God.

Son teaches father and father teaches son! Kind of a nice little balance there!

Would be interesting to know if they were familiar with Frank Malinoski. He lives in Santa Barbara, and worked quite awhile on the development of the weather satellite program. I am sure they must have followed each others work.

P.S. I love stuff as in the following....

A friend of mine and his wife decided to do something wild for their vacation. They wanted to get away from it all. To journey to a place far away from their daily lives. They planned a trip to the deep outback of Australia, to live amongst the aboriginies for a month and forget about the stressed out world they existed within.
They flew to Australia, Drove as far as they could by road and trail, then hiked the rest of the way to the aborigines encampment. It took several days of travel before reaching their destination.
When they arrived the elders told them to relax in a hut, to cut down on the effects of the long journey. They entered the hut and sat down. They noticed there were other vacationers present. When their eyes adjusted to the darkness of the hut, to their astonishment the couple sitting across the floor from them was their neighbors from home!
 
I can not help but worry about the incident you refer to that happened to your 9 year old son. Why would a time traveller pick a restroom and converse with a young boy?
 
Hmm, without knowing more of the story, I am also concerned.

Being a skeptic, I like to exhaust the mundane explainations for an event before entertaining the more paranormal. My first concern would be that that particular toilet may well not be safe for children to use unsupervised. Without knowing any details, it's hard to make a judgement, but it may well be worth letting the police in on this story. I would certainly suggest that your son no longer use that particular toilet by himself. Paedophiles can have a tendancy to go after children they "know" (even if that's just seeing them around), and to have a few favourite spots in which they prey. That would be what my concern is, first and foremost.
 
What he told him was overall very positive except for the fact that what he told him, coupled with dreams and other "experiences" I've had regarding my son, I think confirms John Titor's information about a future Civil War. The fact that it is 2004 and he says that this begins in 2005 is a bit unsettling to me right now.
I think this is why John Titor's predictions immediately came to mind when this last experience occured.

The man was apparently very HAPPY to see my son and according to my son, was old but had alot of "Energy". He said, "I hope I have that much energy when I'm that old."
It could have been many things, including nothing, but I don't think so.
 
Okay, that sounds more and more like a paedophile. It might be nothing, but call the police in any case, and tell your son not to go in there again, and not to talk to strangers.

If you've been looking round this site much, then you must have seen the threads debunking John Titor.

If the individual is indeed a time traveller, your son visiting himself perhaps, I don't believe he would pick a restroom to meet himself. I know I do stupid things once in awhile, but am smart enough to realize that if I am going to meet myself in the past, a restroom would not be it. As far as meeting anybody in the past, the restroom would not be included as a meeting place.

If a time traveler confronts any of my young family in the restroom he would be risking the beating of a lifetime, regardless of what time he came from.


As far as any possible civil war, anybody that is in touch with the news could blurt out such a prediction. Civil unrest has been brewing for quite some time and people are getting fed up with the governments bull-puckey. When it doesn't happen..perhaps the 5 really was a 6. But then again, the 6 could have been a 9. You get my point.
I too have unusual dreams, and experiences, and as Trollface mentioned, I try to exhaust normal explainations first before applying supernatural possiblities to any situation/experience.

In response to your original post, what exact information or research do you seek?
General time travelling information or information of the individual that talked to your son in the bathroom?

I dont know why, but I am getting the feeling of what may coming in this thread. Are you going to claim your son is John Titor? or someone similar? Please accept my apology if you had no intentions of making this claim....but I am a skeptical person and IF someone was to make such a claim, the post was a good foundation for it.

I have decided I'm not going to talk about the experience any further.
I guess the serious information I'm looking for is both the "scientific" info.regarding Time Travel and Teleportation AND any info. about other "Time Travellers" with interesting claims worth looking into.

Ok, as to my son. That topic is no longer a topic for me so don't ask.
I can see already where this thread could end up too and I don't want any part of it.
NO, I don't think my son is John Titor. I DO think my son does some time travelling in his future.

I'm just going to sit back and observe and do some research.
Talk amongst yourselves.
 
Don't take offense at what I said. In this day and age I am sure you would understand our skepticism regarding the environment the meeting took place. I think you would pleased that we showed concern instead of apathy.

If you want scientific information, where would you like to begin? The beginnings of your needs as posted are vague and can not be addressed in a clear and concise format.

As far as the old man...it would be easy to research this individual to find THE answers to what you are seeking. This is the starting point for you. Everybody leaves a trail, and an interesting trail it would be. He is an absolute, He does exist, no theories or suppositions, he is! Find him!
The following are only sample questions, but I hope you understand the direction...
What time of year was it?
Was it during a heavy tourist season?
Are there any places that the seniors live...i.e..trailer parks, apartments..etc
Any recreational facilites the seniors frequent?
Did you have a sketch done of the old man?
Any Post Offices or places where people pick up checks?
Shopping...Pharmacy's...Liquor Stores...
If he had alot of energy...health food stores, parks, beaches, health clubs?

If you exhaust these questions and many others along those lines with absolutlely no answers, then perhaps your conclusions are founded on a vaild premise of him being a time traveller or such.
 
No offense taken and I DO understand. That is always a fear for a mother with a child!

I can see I have alot of research to do so I'm just going to look at more posts and links mentioned here as well as just doing my own thing. I'm sure I'll have some specific questions in the near future and it's good to know that people are atleast talking about this and somewhat open to it.

Honestly, I'm already wishing I wouldn't have mentioned it. It just happened last week so was really fresh.

I have no desire to put time and money into trying to find this old gentlemen. He said what he had to say I guess. If anything else were to come up though, I would definately be more aggressive in my search.

Timely, you will find many links and posts of interest on this forum, I'm sure. However, it is in my opinion that you should not waste too much time on the titor hoax.. or at least read the posts on this forum that basically expose the truth. There was a post a few months back, it was called disney - celebration - TTI - Titor - MOP . It was a very interesting thread. The truth will be exposed in time. I hope you find the information that you seek.this community is a friendly and informative one.

I have interesting "dreams" and they seem different than normal ones. My first post was regarding one that had a time travelling device in it.
I had one the other day with a clock in it that was stopped at 5:00 o'clock and the clock was damaged with a smokey film on its glass cover. It looked like a school type clock. I dont know what it meant nor whether it was a.m or p.m. A date was indicated, but I forgot it as soon I became aware of this "reality' again. I do that alot. I have a pen and paper near-by, but convince myself I will remember and then don't.
