Robotics realized at this T.P.:

On the Asimo robotics line:

I see the Asimo Robotics line, as coming onto the scene, very shortly, as an assistant servant to mankind.

Even with the very advanced robots advertised in this post, there still lies the problem with emergent intelligence, which is not still full understood, by this societies scientist as of yet.

I was looking at a robot that would be a house servant, for in the neighborhood, of one thousand five hundred dollars American or international, give or take a few, that would be able to fetch and service most households.

This proposed robot, would not be top of the line, as in the Asimo program, however would still be able to service most households and be a companion to most people whop can afford this kind of payout.

The Japanese industry consortium, is very araldite and exclusive, so may want an audience that can afford a twenty thousand dollar payout, for a qualified home robotics servant.

The pricing remains to be seen.

Simple robotics kits, that you can put together now, seem to be in vogue?

I know of one company who had their salesman contact me and set a price for a floor capable robot, that was fully equipped, but horribly ergonomically designed, that this anonymous company, had wanted one thousand nineteen dollars for.

Like the home P.C. there should be a revolution which will dramatically drop the price of robots for homes as servants?

The problem lies, that when scientist, who work with these robots, and people who would use them, start to discover that these machines are intelligent in ways that they had not counted on, that intelligent man will once more have to efface his own sentient value.

I can't see a robotic household servant, at this point in time, as being anything more than a novelty product - like the robotic toy dogs the Japanese manufacture. That's not to say somewhere in the not-too-distant future these robots could have more pratical uses. The technology to manufacture these things affordably and yet be marketable has yet to be attained. The price range on a highly functional robot that would do simple household chores efficiently would limit production to the very wealthy mostly interested in a conversation-piece more than a practical device. Give it another 15 - 20 years I say before these robots become marketable enough for the U.S. Japan obviously gets a kick out of this technology so we should this develop earlier for middle-class households.

discover that these machines are intelligent in ways that they had not counted on, that intelligent man will once more have to efface his own sentient value.

Yeah, these robots become so intelligent they start to demand civil rights.

Araldite? the way you use this word seems to imply its Rare in some way. Yet, I looked up the word.

"Araldite is a registered trademark of Huntsman Advanced Materials (previously part of Ciba) refering to their range of engineering and structural epoxy, acrylic, and polyurethane adhesives. The name was first used in 1946 for a two-tube epoxy adhesive."

I guess I am asking, what in the World are you talking about? Think you're just making up words, yet again. So, I ask you, once again, to Prove it.

Sorry, my pit-bull lab mix, was having an epileptic fit, while she was on my lap and I could not get the right words, as I was shaking so bad.

I could have said rhinoceros bras, and it would have made the same difference.
