In Massachusetts in 2001, a man sent out about 1 million spam emails asking for various objects that he needed to build a time machine. An example part would be the old hard drive that he purchased and called a "dimensional warp generator". The e-mails were traced back to Robert Tondino, who stated that he needed parts because he was from 2003 and was stuck in 2001.

Does anyone know if anything else came of this man?

The interesting thing is, and I hate to say this, but he e-mailed at the same time Titor started posting: November 2001.

I do find a recurring theme among schizophrenics. Most believe people are watching them (especially on the computer) and that there is a huge national and international conspiracy against them personally. This guy definitely fits the bill. It's kind of sad. I bet his father had to pay that $5,000 fine for him.
