Because I'm admittedly too lazy to do it myself: I would appreciate it if someone could find me a map of 1400's China and the surrounding "barbarian" states, or even a list with locations of the latter.

If you help, thanks!
If not, fair enough, I'll do it myself...
 
I dont know anybody that would have such a map ( copy of ) other than the U.S. Library of Congress or another division.

I was into map research long ago, and there was an agency that dealt with this exact thing. You may have to go through a library to access the documents.

I will dig through my "stuff" to see if I can find the exact department that I used to contact once in a great while.
I do remember that they did NOT work with " private " individuals, but worked with libraries "only", thus you may need to become friends with a librarian. :P

Also I would contact the Huntington Library in San Marino, Ca. They have a massive vault with all kinds of obscure documents and other items.
