Religion and worldlines

Alright, I'm not a religious person myself, but I think that John's profession of religion in the future and his multiple worldlines concept begs a question: If there is an infinite amount of worldlines, would there not be an infinite number of souls for each vessel (human)? I mean, does that jibe with anyone's concept of heaven, hell, or their own soul, assuming you believe in any of it?

I was just curious if anyone asked him about this, I've been reading through his posts and chats, but haven't seen it come up.

Also, did he imply that there is, in fact, an infinite amount of worldlines, or that a new world line is created every time you interfere with the past? If it's the latter, did he offer any insight on his generation's opinion of the virtue of creating new world lines?

Cancerpants, you're putting entirely too much thought into it. News Flash /ttiforum/images/graemlins/devil.gif/ttiforum/images/graemlins/devil.gifIT's A HOAX/ttiforum/images/graemlins/devil.gif/ttiforum/images/graemlins/devil.gif read through some of the threads on this board, ie.. the "Disney - Celebration - TTI - TI - MOP" thread. I've looked into this and it does appear as if it's a hoax. While it's fun to entertain the thought of this story being true, the facts don't really lead me to believe it is. I hope the truth does come out some day and those that wrote the story admit to it. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a GREAT! story and incredibly consistant, unlike our resident traveler Chrono who sounds like a babbling idiot and basically states the obvious like, "the pope's going to die this year or next year." Have fun with the titor story, don't cook your noodle over it. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Mostly I was just curious, becuase whether you think it's a well written work of science fiction, or true, I think it's a fascinating story, and I'm sure a pretty well-thought out response would have been forthcoming.

Is it impossible that sliding between (memes)branes of other worlds is done by those astralising or otherwise engaging in imaginal mode?

The reason I ask is because if reality on the macro level is dependent on a Tao / Force / Divine, then are we to assume that Quantum bosons and other 'stuff' becomes manifest as we increase the expectation (perception).

In this sense can we generate sufficient will to manifest a portal (just sufficient for a comuunication beam in and out you understand . . .)
