Some years ago I went to a club I frequented and had arrived earlier than usual. i was the first customer in. The usual waitresses where there and after taking a seat in the next room to the bar one came and took my drink order.
She returned with the drink, we spoke a little and she went back to the bar area. I was particularly happy to be out and relaxing after a tough day and was feeling very relaxed and content.
After maybe 15mins I was surprised that the waitress had not returned to check if I needed another drink and by how very quiet it had become. Still I was happy and didn't bother to get up to check where she was.
As I was waiting I heard a female voice say "whats he doing here?" Another voice answered "Probably just passing through" I turned around in my seat and saw a group of 5 ladies sitting at a table. No one had entered the club as they would have had to pass me to get to those seats.
I was stunned and turned back around not wanting to panic but trying to figure out what the heck was going on.
A minute of two later, one of them walked past me and sat at the table in front of me. With a really cheeky smile and a bit of a chuckle she flashed me the two finger and and thumb signal as is used to signal something spooky or evil.
I froze in my seat and just stupidly smiled back at her.
After 1-2 mins she got up and walked back to the group. I didn't know what to do if it was safe to do anything. I could hear them talking and looked around to confirm they where still there.
After 5-10 mins the sound of their talking faded out and when I looked again they were gone.
I took the opportunity to go to toilet which was situated behind where they had been sitting to relieve myself.
I came back to my table and sat down wondering what had just happened and after a few minutes the waitress came and said "where have you been?" I replied that I hadn't been anywhere and she said " yes you have, I came to check twice and you where not here"
I replied "you must have come when I was in the toilet" to which she responded "no you weren't, after the second time I went to check in the toilet just in case you were ill, or had slipped and fallen or something"
I didn't know what to make of that so I said nothing about what had happened in case she thought I was flipping out or under the influence of some drug.
I don't know what really happened or how to explain it. Has anyone had a similar experience?
