Real instance of time travel?

Has anybody else out there had a premonition dream of an earthquake hitting New York? I had my dream about 2:33 AM, July 29th, 2001.

In the dream I was watching the Today Show on my TV and Katie Couric was talking. All of the sudden everything at the Today Show studio shook and the TV signal from New York blacked out and immediately cut back to local advertisements. I also felt my house shake a little bit in the dream because I live in Michigan and quakes in the Eastern U.S. travel for quite a ways.

I also saw periodic cut-ins into the local broadcasts by Katie doing a remote hook-up from a television truck and she was talking about 10,000 people dying in a building. Either she was talking about the Empire State Building or the World Trade Center. In the dream the quake was very devastating because she could barely hold her emotions together on the air and in the background of the TV image I could see huge open spaces where tall skyscrapers once stood and one tall skyscraper billowing smoke from all of it's broken windows. While Katie was interviewing some survivors, more aftershocks hit the city and knocked out the TV transmissions once more.

I usually don't write about dreams and I usually don't dream about far away places, but this dream stuck out because it scared the "you know what" out of me. "
 
Hey, that's a vivid dream, very interesting, thanks for posting it. I have not had that dream but I know someone who has, in their dream they mentioned how New York was destroyed by an earthquake, Boston was destroyed by a tidal wave, and Albany was destroyed by fire. Dreams are interesting, they can mean many things, both symbolic and literal. This peticular dream could be literal. Hopefully it doesn't happen, but if it does, according to your dream it may happen pretty soon.

Actually, as you can see in the original post, I had the dream on July 29th, 2001 and on September 24th, 2001 it was archived by the Internet Archive(archive.org)

The significance of the dream is the fact that it took place 44 days BEFORE 9/11. You can even read replies on the link where people dismissed my dream before 9/11 and then freaking out after 9/11 when it came to pass, although through a different cause.

So to my knowledge it's the only recorded instance of "time travel" via dreams on the internet. There were other copies of it archived at the Internet Archive just before 9/11 but those links have long since vanished from the site.

I've had a few other dreams since the 9/11 dream that may have changed the "timeline" when I posted them on the net. It's possible the right people got the information and stopped catastrophic events from happening in the first place. The information itself could be "components" of a vanished timeline as I outlined in the "Morphing Puzzle of Time" post;

A dream in this instance would have been "Component A-Prime" from the future, "Puzzle A-Prime". "Puzzle A", the present, absorbed "Component A-Prime" and became "Puzzle B". So now after a dream didn't come true, we're living in the "Puzzle B & Puzzle B-Prime" timeline.
