PROOF THAT TIME TRAVEL IS REAL

So what are the general feelings in here re: the direction you can travel in time? Is there a school that thinks you can travel to the future using the special law of relativity and a really fast spaceship but not the past or is it an anything is possible kind of discussion?
 
I personally belive that IF we are the present (reference to another post), but anyway, i belive that if we are the present then you can only travel backwards and you can never return to your proper time, So in my mind any time travel for a mission would be a suicide mission, unless you went to another world line then went back to your own but a few seconds from when u departed
