Proof of evolution?

Note that we also have organs that we no longer need -- the appendix, the gall bladder, etc. Are these not proof we are evolving? Opinions?

I totally agree with you. One thing though is that it is not that we don't need the appendix and the gall bladder....its that it is not necessary to survive anymore because the body will adapt, in my opinion. They still have a purpose and use to our bodies though...I had my gall bladder removed about a year ago and it took awhile for my body to adapt to not having it but once that adaption period was completed...its not a big deal it seems anymore.

These organs placement could host back up necessary organs growing points within the body as a host position. Imagine a backup brain that is just retaining memory and self or soul . It's purpose is that upon death to be transplanted or extend life over centuries. It would be inserted where the removed organ is currently and fed blood from the removed organs veins.

So you are saying that a back up brain would be surgically inserted to where my gallbladder was removed and then when I died the inserted brain would be removed and transplanted into someone elses host body? I want to make sure I understand.
I'm assuming the purpose of this would be to store anything and everything that the host individual experiences or witnesses which continues to collect as it gets transplanted to more hosts. It's an interested idea but I do not think that a brain could function where other organs are located because the spinal cord and nerves would have to split or multiply somehow and work with this second brain. If this was plausible, how would the second brain be stopped if it tried to take over? This is a possibility since it has more knowledge from other hosts and is older let's say.
