the Mayan calander shows this date to be the end of the 5th or 5 eras of man. Many believe this to mean all out destruction of mankind, which it may. But it is also plausible that this may just signal the beginning of new areas of new man. We have evolved quite a bit since the mayan calander was made, and maybe it just time that we acknowledge taht.
