The death of Ronald Wilson Reagan at this time is highly significant, in several different dimensions of history and our current time events. His clear influence on events that lead to the final dissolution of the USSR is documented as part of history. His ability to rebuild the US economy through investment in the tech sector is also part of the factual record.

RWR's death at this time will significantly reshape the landscape of the political situation in the US over the next month. I believe you will see repositioning on both sides. And do you all recall a time where Reagan spoke about a time, when all members of humanity here on Earth would come to learn of another, exo-earth culture?

The situation that Ronald Reagan was describing in that speech is closer to reality than some skeptics may believe.

May Ronald Wilson Reagan rest in peace!

“Whatever else history may say about me when I’m gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to your best hopes, not your worst fears; to your confidence rather than your doubts. My dream is that you will travel the road ahead with liberty’s lamp guiding your steps and opportunity’s arm steadying your way.”---Ronald Reagan

Yes, I precisely remember Reagans speech on TV that day. It has stuck with me ever since!

Which has got me thinking about a great many things in the schemes of our history...I would like to awaken all of you to the study and field of "psychohistory" and "psychohistorians".

It is the study that relates underlying psychodynamic factors to cycles in mass political consciousness and cognitive beliefs.

One psychohistorian that comes to mind is Lloyd DeMause, who had predicted the defeat of Jimmy Carter and the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan which had been psychoanalyzed from the comics which DeMause believes that the body images used by the cartoonists of the nation are by far the best index of the society group trends and stages of the nation. DeMause also predicted what eventually became the Gulf War.

The tricky part is understanding how these life cycle and cohort effects interact to produce historical cycles. In the phases of life, or about 22 years over the last three centuries, the psychohistorians claim that a distinctive "social moment" has/is occurring every 22 years or so, marking the transition from one generations period of dominance to that of another...

These prediction are not just hype, but also a warning of something we might prepare for. If we can learn and come to understand the flow of the system, we may be able to choose and change future actions that stir our course out of harms way... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
