Philosophical question:

I have a phylosph's question.I would like you to seriously consider the question and answer as you would?

Do you feel, that with the current population size, as well as the problems that current mankind is now invested with here on Earth, that possibly mankind in some part of his population, is ready to be replaced by androids?

This would be to relocate some aspects of man to other places in the galaxy and cosmos. Then the population would be decreased on Earth, so allowing for androids, who are more genteel, to replace those left behind stations.

The tenets of my philosophy, are is that mankind as his is put toghaether here, for the most part haphazardly designed, does in some ways show po ropensities for self destruction. And even when he she is happy, still in some manner, does always seem to get into trouble.

Do you feel, that this is the time now, to translocate Earthbased mankind, to other star reaches. This is while keeping a few people here and then augmenting that population, with very highly evolved androids?

Lesser service robots would also be in the mix.

Here is a helper into this philosophical stance.
We as a society have not legalized prostitution as of yet.

One would think, with killings of prostitutes such as the Green River slayings in Washington State. This is said that the institution of prostitution, as a nationwide service act, would in some manner be cosponsored by the state itself?

No' this is not the case and prostitutes, both men and wimen still place themselves at great risk, in order to provide a service, that is proven that people within a society need.

So something is either in the design rule, or in the animus of the nature of how people invest themselves here on Earth, that is an indication something is defiantly out of wack and needs changing.

So in one respect, then a male female android to service the masses in one or other areas would be considered with mankind as he is now?

What do you say, on this issue and how do you feel about it.

Is mankind ready now, to part with his old Earth homestead, so going to the stars, leaving a modicum of humans accompanied with androids here on Earth?

Instructions:Read over what has been written in this thread, go someplace to think about what has been asked.Look at the entire situation that man is placed in now and then answer this question?

No, this is not a joke. This is a very serious asking and your opinion, does count.

Is mankind ready now, to part with his old Earth homestead, so going to the stars, leaving a modicum of humans accompanied with androids here on Earth?
Yes. Please put my name at the top of the list!

This is said that the institution of prostitution, as a nationwide service act, would in some manner be cosponsored by the state itself?
Somehow, I do not think that a discussion of state-sponsored prostitution is anywhere within the realm of a time travel discussion!

MOP, can we please get a ruling on this? This seems to be an offensive topic!

Please note with reference to the eighth line down saying, >Here is a helper into this philosophical stance.
We as a society have not legalized prostitution as of yet.

This is only a tickler, into one of the many access areas, that mankind is currently having trouble with.

I could have used the subject of bakery, making people obese, or non-properly made nylon stockings for nurses, or a myriad of other topics, that infract mankind, due to social design.

Remember, the Romans and Greeks both legalized prostitution in their societies.

I'm not saying that this is right. This example only gives a codrant view, into the access areas of mankind.

So therefore, would be legal fare in this thread, to convey an idea.

Did you view the movie, A.I. by Steven Spielberg. The scene in the movie, where Judd Law, is accused of homicide of a human client?

What about Murders In The Rue Morgue, the throttling of a Prostitute, might I add, a well kept one, jammed up inside of a chimney!?

Remember, we are examining the motives of man, or how he is acting due to his situational stance in the ergonomics, of how he is placed within a civilization?

Thank you

A storyline just popped into my head.

Advanced humanoid robots are sent into the far reaches of space. They are programmed to build a planet based space station on a distant planet. They are sent along with all the tools/materials needed to build an enclosed space station that could support human life.

The distance of this new planet dwelling is some 300 years away (i don't know how they travel to it).

10 years after the builder droids are sent, another set of droids is sent. The breeder droids. They are sent as male and femail robots, each with frozen human reproductive material stored inside them for the 300 year trip to the awaiting space station. Remember they are sent only ten years after the builders (10 years is the estimated time for the station to be built). The breeder bots are sent not only with frozen eggs and sperm, but also stored/freeze dried amino compounds that are developed to nurture new borns into young adults. Once the breeder droids land, they thaw there reproductive material and allow conception to occur. Once this has happened, the newly formed baby is placed into a compartment of the female breeder for nine months. Once the baby is born, he/she is cared for by these robots, which begin teaching the new infants what they need to know.

All while this is happening, regular shipments of food/water are sent to this offworld community from earth. Time goes on, and when the inhabitants are in there 20's or so (would make the movie better) they receive a normal shipment, but attached is a video message (they are used to getting these) that the shipments won't continue. This is the last one. Earth is in disarray. We're sorry. sort of thing. They are faced with the situation of surviving.

They decided to make use of the robots to do tasks, they launch into space to intercept the incoming supply ship. And from there I don't know what happens.

LOL! Why did I think of all this? I think I'm getting into Creedo's world.

u know RMT it's funny u bring up blaine, he's been on T.V. alot l8ly and watching him i always ponder. Is it camera tricks or is it not... or is it a combination. I mean everything he does could easily be done w/ camera tricks, but is he really using them or is he really "magical". I wish i could find that answer out.

On topic...

i really dont understand the point to answering such a question. This is not something that is going to happen, at least anytime soon. We have not even found a planet able to sustain life. And why would we leave this planet just to have androids take over it? i dont get the point... what would happen to all the other people, mass genocide? i think a little more clarification is needed, and why u are asking such a weird question... besides just being creedo!

I would never want to send shipments of liquid water to another planet. The ideal thing to do is to create liquid water from the foreign planet's existing resources. Water is too precious a resource and it's incredible that Earth has this much. The next body of liquid water is many light years away, SAVE THE WATER!
