Once when I was working and had to use the dial out of the phone;
I had to dial 9+ the number...I had to make a long distance call, hence 9+1 etc
Well, I double hit the number "1" and by accident called the emergency service.
Responsibly I told the dispatcher it was an accident, but nonetheless a police officer had to show up at my place of work and verify that there was nothing out of the ordinary.
I think everyone here can atest that social station or profession never undermines the protocol of safety.
If there was going to be a race card involved, it would be from the woman that phoned the incident in, if there 'was' any ill intent. How many movie stars get arrested when drunk and demand to be left alone? Did the police officer have a right to pull over Paris Hilton? You be the judge.
Apparently the Prof 'jimmied' the door because he forgot his keys.
Even 'if' someone told this police officer, 'Oh hey, that's a Prof!'....
Could the cop have gotten fired if he said 'okay' and just drove away not checking things out?
lol.
Wow, I'm stopping commenting on this now. I imagine it should be quite the topic of debate.
Logic seems to be going out the window though.
Sadly this situation does nothing to help old wounds heal. Is it a service or a disservice?
Special treatment?
