This time traveler is saying, that a nuclear war will ensue, earlier.
I don't know if this is going to happen, but will say, that any time one has a mass detonation, that this energy shunts into the sun.
The sun is the biggest gravity source, time and space provide the extra scalier pathways to the sun, so one places highly concentrated energy, which the sun does not need or want, right straight into it.
The result is cataclysmic, to that sun.
