OT: Screenplay

Does anyone want to write a screenplay about time travel with me? We could collaborate on some hidden forum somewhere on the net... let me know.. we can sell it to hollywood and be rich.
 
Sounds good to me, I'm a writer (or at least I would like to be). have any ideas for the screenplay yet? Lets make sure we keep it scientific so the nerdy folks in the audience don't go "Thats physically impossible" and walk out on the movie. lol
 
well ive had this idea for a while... in the future, all of society is run by robots.. these robots were created by man.. the robots got so intellegent, that they deemed man inefficient and therefore must be destroyed. but there's a twist. there's a human freedom fighter in the future that survived the wrath of the robots and is the leader of an anti robot faction. he ends up destroying the robot core, winning the battle. the robots, after they lose the war, decide to send a robot back in time to kill the mother of this freedom fighter so that the core isn't destroyed by the human faction. the humans get drift of this and end up sending one of their own men back in time to protect the leaders mother... thats all i got for now, but there could be a twist, like the guy thats sent back in time and the mother make love, and the boy the mother gives birth to, is actually the freedom fighter in the future !!!

I call it, "Billy and the Robosauraus's"

What makes you think there is going to be a Core to the computers AI. Havn't you seen Terminator 3? anyway the AI infects all of the computers, everywhere. You can't just shut down one system you have to destroy all of them.
 
Nope they said "There was no core". Which is why the end up at Crystal Peak in a room full of 20 year old computers in a huge nuke bunker. Then John says "This can't be skynet, these computers must be 20 years old" or something to that effect.
