Opinions on Telepathy, Remote Viewing

Hi all,

I am interested in hearing people's views and opinions of these two items /ttiforum/images/graemlins/yum.gif:

Telepathy:

Remote Viewing:

The reason I am posting this in the "Time Travel" section of the forum, is that I believe there must be some context of time with these two phenoma. If one is of the opinion that these are possible, or that one has read about or seen evidence to suggest these are possilbe, or one is of the opinion that they have experienced either of these two phenoma, can they share with us.

How could these, telepathy and remote viewing, be possible within our present physical understanding of the nature of life and the universe?

I have read material that seems quite convincing that there is evidence that remote viewing is a capability of homo sapiens, if one expands their natural abilities. And like any skill, each person has an affinity or talent that is predetermined in regard to these capabilities.

But again, I am interested in how these phenomena can be explained in the linear concept of time, and also in the non-linear concepts of time. Spacetime as well.

I look forward to your replies.

Ok how i see it is that we use like 10% of our brain so what if we could use more. I think with telepathy is just some one taping into a patr of there brain to allow this to happen and they can enter the brain of anyone but easily to the ones that are weak at the skill or don't know how to use it. Because their brain is weak. A little of topic but i also thnk that what they call "magic" is just the ablity to use a different part of the brain. and remote viewing is it is what i think it is. Is just some one who is strong in the ablity but doesn't train the ablity or doesn't have the power.

I'd like to think that I use 100% of my brain. If we did only use 10% of our brains, wouldn't JFK survived his assassination? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

funny but no because we use 10% but it is all over the brain that is why people can be killed by a bullet like our thinking part is in the front so if that gets hit we die

Thank you for handling that so eloquently, Roel!

It would seem this myth falls into at least two categories:

1) Misquote of something Einstein said (this happens a LOT...speed of light implications are the biggest misrepresentation of his Theory of Relativity!)
2) The well-known theory that "if you repeat something enough times, to enough people, people will begin to believe it".

Kind Regards,

the old super hero "The Shadow" alsp helped spread this, in the show/comic/movie he used something like 60% of his brain and he could all these wondrous things

Way to go Roel!

I will only respond using 10% of my ideas.

Maybe now I can write a discertation with the remaining 90%.

Dear Baron-Sengir.

I hope don't mind a little jibing at your expense. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif At the center essence of what you said,I think, excluding the 10% of our brains as an example, it seems as though you are saying we have untapped abilities.

Does that aptly hit at what your were expressing?

I have to admit, that I do believe that we could use our brains much more efficiently and perhaps even in other ways. I'm personally bothered by the fact that the most insignificant little details linger in my memory, while I sometimes forget important things.

sorry but i was unclear and a little mistakened. It is we only use 10% of our brain at one time so the possiblity are limitless if we could use 100% all the time and that we have many skills but we have to unlock them.

Using your brain in a linear manner is similar to what you call 10%.

Our brains could be much more effective if we learn to use them in a much more NON-LINEAR manner. (approaching 99-100%) Think: Chaos Theory/Fractals

I believe that we humans had telepathy, remote veiwing, even telekinesis many millions of years ago. We would use these "unnatural forces" to protect our weak bodies from predators. Eventually the preds learnes that it's not that easy to take us doen, so they left us alone

(we flourished, and lost the "forces" because we didn't need then, let us use our brain for inventing stuff.)

I know it's farfetched, but Ive been writing a screenplay dealing with this matter. It's called The Test, but I wount tell you guys too much more about it right now.

as for how remote viewing is relative to time, maybe because tiime is partially predecided (take a left or right turn, the future will change accorgingly but the effect is prechosen) and remote viewing lets us look at the possible future(s)

it's just what I think.

/ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gifIt'called old age, i recall things from thirty years ago,but sometimes don't remember yesterday!!!

Mmmmh... thirty years ago, that was about 3 years BR

(Before Roel)

I guess it's not my age... it's probably the alcohol abuse

I use alcohol for timetravel. Sometimes it even works. My lights go out and I wake up in another time and another place (usually my bed).

Hello All,

I just wanted to interject how much I enjoy and love seeing how these topics get everyone's wheels turning, and their opinions and ideas contributed. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Everything is so all-interconnected, in this time of discovery, or maybe re-discovery, that it seems difficult to look at one facet with out consideration of all the rest.

Maybe it is like Heisenberg's princlple of uncertanty,

When we look at one subject and examine it, we isolate it and it effects our analysis of it. In a freer state, the subject just is.
