Open Letter to Time Travelers: I Want In

Hey Time Travelers!

So, this is probably the coolest letter I've ever written. I mean, how often do you get to reach out to people who can actually hop through time? Pretty wild!

I recently found out about your group (don't ask me how - let's just say word gets around), and I've got to say, I'm totally blown away. Time travel? For real? That's literally the dream! I've been obsessed with the idea ever since I was a kid, watching all those sci-fi movies and imagining what it would be like to see different times with my own eyes.

Here's the deal - I want in! I know it probably sounds super forward, but honestly, wouldn't you want someone on your team who's excited enough to just come right out and ask? I promise I'm not just some random thrill-seeker. I genuinely care about history and the future, and I'd be so careful about not messing anything up (no stepping on butterflies or accidentally becoming my own grandparent, I promise!).

I'm pretty good at keeping secrets (I mean, I haven't told ANYONE about you guys), I'm totally flexible with whatever training you need me to do, and I'm ready to jump into this adventure whenever you are! Plus, I make really good snacks for long trips - just saying!

Look, I know this is a long shot, but think about it - wouldn't it be awesome to have someone new to show the ropes to? Someone who would absolutely geek out over every single trip? Because that would totally be me!

Drop me a message anytime - past, present, or future. Seriously, any century works for me! And hey, if you're reading this from the future, you already know if I made the cut or not. Maybe leave a sign? Like, I don't know, make my coffee machine work extra well tomorrow morning or something?

Fingers crossed (in all timelines),

We all pay with the coin that we have.
What do you have to offer the program?

I have to offer a lot of knowledge about this time... My culture goes to many sectors, and I talk many languages (13 plus Latin and Tibetan). I don't have any friends or relation that could block my travels in the future. Probably in the future the spirituality, humanistic sciences, philosophy etc .. all these sciences will be almost dead, I can help to bring them back to life to the core. I will be completely anonymous and do all the research needed. I am ready to do all the things that will be asked to me, even if dangerous

I want to travel to the future
Prepare to fast forward!

What the hell are we looking at?
We are looking at now. Everything that happens now, is happening now.
What happened to then?
We past that.
When?
Now. We are at now now.
Go back to then!
When?
Now.
Now?
Yeah.
I can't.
Why?
We missed it.
When?
Just Now.
...

When.. will.. then.. be now?

...Soon.

How did you learn Tibetan?

Around the year 2000 an alleged time traveler hinted at a nuclear event in March of 2015, an impossible prediction to make 15 years in advance. That incident almost occurred 10 years ago. That tells us everything we need to know about our access to time travel over the next 11 years.

That's not quite what Titor said. On 2-12-2001 on the "I am From 2036" thread Kane Greene asked Titor, "What is the specific Date that the Nuclear war starts? If you can't remember the exact date, could you put the month at least? An estimate!" On 2-13-2001 Titor responded, "I remember the exact date. When it comes, it will not be a surprise." On 2-15-2001 Chad Dirks asked,"You have claimed several times that you will not participate in assisting anyone to get out of 'death by probability'. Yet any number of the things that you have said could have already caused an individual to do or not do something that will now result in them either dying, or escaping death an otherwise fated death." On 2-19-2001 Titor responded, "
It would help if you could give an example. If you are referring to the conflict and war in your future, I’m not sure I’m specific enough to help any individuals avoid anything. Suggesting there is a war coming is a bit different than saying avoid Washington DC at 3:45 AM on March 12, 2015."

That wasn't a prediction that something would happen on March 12th, 2015. He was suggesting that if he gave any date it wouldn't help anyone.

If you're going to support the time travel aspect of the Titor Saga you have to stop thinking of time as a linear construct. Titor/TTO never, ever made a prediction. Within the context of the Titor Saga he was telling the story of what he witnessed in our future but which occurred in his past. For a time traveler 2015 is an instant away. For you to suggest that for a time traveler to "predict" something 10 years into our future is an impossibility means you don't understand time travel. Of course a time traveler can make such predictions because they aren't predictions at all.. Within the context of the Titor Saga he had the ability to do that. Time travel to the past has specific implications. One implication is time is not linear. Another is time travel to the past implies that causality can be violated; if effect can come before cause, effect no longer requires a cause.

Amazing C.V.

There’ll be people in all sorts of shady sectors reading this with great interest. When you have avenues to recruit the world’s best and the kind of funding which might boggle the average persons mind…who wouldn’t be interested in a “Woah…like, fair out, man. I mean wouldn’t you want me? I’ll even bring nachos and cheese for the journey” sort of open application.

You should have addressed it directly to Titor himself. Or even that sex pest from Damanhur…you might have had more luck.
