OllyB,....Whatr' why the Hell did you bring me here!
The room is white, , there are some sketchers of French artists.
Creedo is dressed in a long coat, charcoal gray slakes, while Olly is in a dress, but it's more of an occasional garment.
OllyB,.......You had no right to do this!
You don't even, ......Creedo interrupts, but you, were sent,.....
Creedo,.....Look at the sketch Olly?
Olly looks at the French artist's work and says, nice sketch but what does,..........
Creedo,. reaches over a grabs Ollie's hand.
Olly,....This is crap I don't want to be romantic with,......
Creedo,....Your first two fingers; extend them?
Creedo shakes her hand, the fingers point out and Creedo assures her, "relax".
Close your eyes and let me take you over this drawing by this French artists.
Relax, I'm not going to hurt you, I only want you to see this as I describe what youre hearing.
The head is a large, three quarter view.
In-back of the subject, a little above.
The charcoal strokes are made from a fire-brand this is drier, but not a natural charcoal.
Very pointed, but quick work.
Olly, listen to me..........
The way this artist did this sketch was as if he was right on, or above the subject, however the subject was enlarged bigger than natural life.
Ollly,....A giant?
Creedo,....Yes.
The hair is black, full. The upper torso well muscled, but replete in definitive values.
I need your two fingers and feel what I am telling you.
Olly,...Okay.
Creedo,..the movements of the charcoal are such that it is a flowing motion, of how and what the artist sees.
What he is smelling, all that he senses, being next to him.
Now in your mind see the many pages that he had composed and how very quickly and robust he has done this?
Olly,...Oh' I see now Creedo, it is a work, of being one with the subject.....!
He did not just draw him, but was, became part of the subject.
Creedo,..Open your eyes now Olly?
Olly and Creedo stare at one another.
