Going back ... oh say 10-12 years ago...
I remember watching a Discovery channel? show about a paticular area in Russia (it became more accessible after the fall of the Soviet Union) that was in a densely wooded area, rather large, rural, and on a map made a triangle.
In this area, there were supposedly many, many UFO sightings, and a TV crew went there now that it was accessible to question some of the locals.
They interviewed one man in paticular whom when very young was hit on the head out in the woods by a floating metallic object...supposedly and it showed this on the show;
the man was able to do very "abnormal" things such as:
-Hold his breath under water for periods much longer than normally possible (hours)
-Stop his own bleeding after deep punctures in the skin (even small impalements)
-attack a metal needle to his finger tips to produce sparks on paper
At the end of the show for a finale, the man took a pair of pliers, inserted a heavy gauge wire
into his forearms between the bones (no bleeding) and then continued to hook this up to a train car and somehow pull the car slightly with no worry of busting his forearms (almost gross to watch).
As well if I remember correctly the man was about 60 years old? Had the body of a twenty year old if not better physically...
I just thought someone would be able to recall this, as a simple search on the net produced nothing, and this is going back a little ways.
Was a neat show though... :D Would love to find some of that footage again.
