Odd occurance at cemetery

My Mother and I went to put roses on my Grandmaw's grave last Sat. the 11th. It's a small cemetery with about 30 families represented there. Baby McNeil's grave, from early 1900's, next to my Grandfather's was a plain headstone. Just name and date. Well, when we went Sat, Baby McNeil's grave now has a heart carved into it and some pressed leaves and flowers. We couldn't believe it. The grave stone still looks weathered and old. Perhaps my Mom and I are mistaken but it feels odd to me.
 
If you are certain another relative didn't do it, then I have two theories. Either someonehas communicated from beyond the grave or your consciousness experienced a timeline shift.
