Additionally , his wife, was said to have had numerous affairs, was constantly caustic and berating to everything that Lincoln did and seemed to adjoining to his political cause.
Lincoln was the man, the president that everything, when the civil war broke out, had land in his lap.
He was responsible for the welfare of a nation and tried to both level the playing field of man's humanity to man, as well as offer potential closure, plus a future direction for a national that was ending a horrid conflict, that was literally placing brother against brother.
Kerry was placed in another situation in another civil war, which was the outcome of shedding off the vestiges of again colonialism, as opposed to open and fair honest government, in the Republic Of South Vietnam.This place is now referred to as the Peoples Republic Of South Vietnam.
Never before, in the mutual compassions of conflicts to this size and nature, to where emotional stifle had been imposed to such a degree on any one peoples or nation, was the value of a fair an just leader emphasized.
It is very easy to judge and criticize at one's foibles from the sideline of any political strife or conflict. This is when who could have made the right and proper course of action then?
But to be in that main position and have to deal with these concepts in actuality and make the right decisions then, is an entily differing matter.
President Lincoln was a great president.
Maybe with the hindsight of the years to come, another man can rise above the political grime that has seemed to infest this office and give that right and critical leadership, once again?
