I think it somewhat unfair to make that judgment based upon a post created by our friend Cigman. There are numerous alternative posts to choose from and I am certain that you can find something to join in on somewhere.

If you don't see a topic you feel comfortable joining in on, create your own. There is even an off-topic section if you have anything you wish to discuss that you aren't sure as to where to create the thread.


Other than that, welcome aboard and I hope you do decide to join in.

As a side note:

I am a gamer too. Went from Halo, to Battlefield 2142, to most recently Unreal Tournament 3.

A friend and myself rented and operated our own server for Halo and are now operating a server for Unreal Tournament 3.

What kind of rig are you running to be competitive in the gaming world ?

Mine started out as a Sony VAIO, but I customized it so much, I don't think it can be classified as a Sony anymore.
