It's been 30 years since my last jump. All I've ever wanted for the world was tranquility, but we don't always get what we want. The war is not over. The things I've been doing / talking about over the last several months have not gone unnoticed, and I'm no longer able to play behind the scenes from the mountains.
I do not know exactly what or who caused such a massive deviation...but the last thing I'm going to do is go big and go after VesselShare itself. I know the locations of at least 20-30 class 1 machines buried in America, and will make my way to the closest one within the next week. I can say that America at least has no less than 200 machines scattered across the globe. We have always been years ahead of China, and always will be.
I won't be working alone either.
I'll tell exactly what I plan to do, because if we succeed--we'll be back on track by November, and if I fail, it won't matter anyway because America still gets invaded within 5 years & this data will be lost in the archives.
I've been riding in a custom grown vessel from VS for 30 years, and have no plans to return it. They know they can't pull the plug on me, because that in itself would cause a massive divergence. My first stop is 3124, where I will close the door on my sleeping self. Next stop February 2021. Then 2024. Then 2028. Then who knows
There's only six of us from Squad 0 left, and my intention is to make the other five get home. To any other patriots with access who are willing to help, the plan is to destroy all the machines & prevent enemies from reverse engineering one. To fully accomplish this feat, we'll need to also snuff out trans-universal traveling shortly after the birth of True AI.
You'll know we succeeded if IBM Watson becomes the first self-aware AI. In my time that was in the year 2056, but as things will assuredly be in flux...anticipate for a divergence of 1-5% at least.
