Lost 2 hours of time

Well, apparently last night my landlorda and I assume myself to since I'm in the next room over somehow jumped ahead in time by 2 hours. My landlords went for a quick 2 block walk which started at 1:45 am then they came home not to long after that, took a quick shower then when they looked at the clock it was 5:15 am.

I don't recall seeing time jump but their son was sure pissed off that 2 hours was somehow missing!
I don't have any time machines yet just ideas in my head so who knows!

Just a few questions:

First, how did you come to know that your two landlords came home and took a quick shower? That sort of personal information isn't generally shared between landlords and tennants. I'm assuming that they aren't close friends only because you refered to them as your landlords rather than saying, "two friends who live next door to me".

Second, how did you come to know that their clock was inaccurate? What brought the conversation about?

Third, was it you or they who originally concluded that they somehow "lost" two hours?

Fourth, why did you "assume" that you too was similarly affected? By stating it as an assumption I have to conclude that you either don't have a clock or watch or that you didn't check your clock or watch. The latter seems unlikely considering your statement, "I don't have any time machines yet just ideas in my head so who knows!" It indicates, coupled with your appearance here, that you're a time travel fan. Given your conclusion about what might have occured you would have checked your own clock and stated as a matter of fact, rather than an assumption, that the same thing happened (or didn't happen) to you.

Fifth, was it the son and not the parents that related the story to you? Is he aware of your interest in time travel? Is it possible that he was pulling your leg when he told you the tale? Is it possible that he changed the clocks as a prank on his parents - and then extended the prank to you too?
