Let\'s behave...

Hey there guys,

As our membership grows, I'd just like to remind you all to behave. We're all adults here (well, most of us), and I'm sure we can all differ in opinions without having to resort to flames and insults. This is an open forum for discussing some serious - and some not-so-serious - matters. If you chase away everyone who disagrees with you, then this place is going to get very boring.

Embrace those who do not agree with you. Listen to what they have to say and maybe you'll find they have something important to say.

RE: Let\'s behave...

Sounds like a good plan. I am up for it. By the way I am new here and looking around. I find Time Travel an interesting subject.

RE: Let\'s behave...

Sorry about the banner I was testing the signatures. Do you have any problem with me using that as a sig? If so let me know and I will remove it.

RE: Let\'s behave...

Looks like an ad banner, Dr. Nemo. I'd prefer you not use an ad banner as your sig. If you have your own animated GIF, that's OK... but it shouldn't be an ad banner... or even resemble one, as it could cause confusion.

RE: Let\'s behave...

Dr. Nemo, that still looks like an ad. If you want to put a graphic in your signature, please make sure it's either representative of your or your website.

Thanks,

RE: Let\'s behave...

That was just a sample or test graphic. I was thinking size and not what it was for. Ok, how about this one I made that links to my page. This is in good clean fun and I have gotten many laughs from it.

Click it and see! Lol

RE: Let\'s behave...

Just to finish up with Dr. Nemo... please don't use your posts for advertising purposes. But you can use your posts to link to your own personal websites if they have something to do with time travel. Please try to respect these rules.

Now, back to the topic at hand... please remember that English is not the first language of everyone on this forum. You can make inferences and nuances that may make sense to people who are fluent in English, but other people may misunderstand or misinterpret. Please be clear and please be polite.

Thanks,
Mop
