Killing theory of Time Travel Universe Destruction

TimeTraveler25

Temporal Novice
A theory has been presented that if a time traveller leaves his own time, then the universe would become unstable, and ultimately be destroyed. This just isn't possible. Why? well look here. Time itself is something that humans have made up. Seconds, minutes, and hours, even days and years, are all things that humans have made up. The universe therefore, has no concept of time. The wrong theory suggests that the universe needs to have a certain mass, and a certain amount of matter at all times, other wise it would be destroyed. It also describes the fact that if the traveller leaves his own time, the universe in his time will be destroyed because of the lack of matter. When the traveller arrives in the new time, there will be too much matter and the universe will also be destroyed. If the universe has no concept of time, then it cannot distinguish, how much matter is existing in a certain time or not. If it has no concept of time, then it will not be affected by a time traveller. The universe will only think that the traveller is only moving from place to place, not from time to time, because as i said before, the universe knows nothing of time. If the matter is only moving about, then it is never lost or gained, its still there just in a different place. I have never heard of anyone disproving the Time Travel Universe Destruction Theory, but this was the closest i could get in my first attempt.

Killing is not nice, try disproving.

"Time itself is something that humans have made up. Seconds, minutes, and hours, even days and years, are all things that humans have made up," TimeTraveler25
In that line of thinking I suppose we must say distance is something humans have made up. Meters, Inches, Feet, even Miles and Kilometers are all things that humans have made up. In reality though we did not create these things, we just set forth and named a standard system of measuring them.
"It also describes the fact that if the traveller leaves his own time, the universe in his time will be destroyed because of the lack of matter,"TimeTraveler25
So what your saying is that the theory is correct. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif I know that is not what you mean to say, but fact means proven /ttiforum/images/graemlins/devil.gif the word is used far too loosly in todays society. I am wearing shoes, that is a fact. My shoes endow me with superhuman luck, that is a theory.
" If the universe has no concept of time, then it cannot distinguish, how much matter is existing in a certain time or not."TimeTraveler25
A cup has no concept of time, however if it is aware or not it still reacts to a change in mass at any given time. If the universe does have an unchanging maximum capacity like the cup then new matter forced in would cause it to spill over or like a balloon explode.
"I have never heard of anyone disproving the Time Travel Universe Destruction Theory,"TimeTraveler25
How about that, neither have I. And until the universe explodes, or some one comes with incontrovertable proof they are from the future, no one ever will.

You are the most red, blue and yellow flying carpet.
ATTENTION MILLENNIUM DOMES! You are suspenders.
Have you still got my wax houseboat?
I've never been tungsten.
Steel maybe. Scroticulis. Most assuredly.
Beware the smug ferret!
Oh yes, you can dye me,
and you can spoon-feed me,
and you can run around after my fireball,
but you won't change the way I Nut.
Please get stuck in a lift with my phaser.
Would you like a silly knees-bent running-about swivel chair? ANSWER ME!

Re: Killing is not nice, try disproving.

hows to say that thar is a set mass to the unavers mabe it atomaticly makcs room for new matter that like saying if I inprgnat my wife at the rong time the unavers will explod.or maybe the unavers is only 1/2 full we dont no.you no like a class of water tack a 1/2 full clas and then and just a drop. the water will ripel yes, but one drop wont over fill the glass.

Re: Killing is not nice, try disproving.

I'm not a big proponent of the theory, either, Avery, it just doesn't make much sense. Especially if the universe is expanding infinitely, it should have plenty of room for extra mass. Unless, this new matter is not compatible with that universe, but wouldn't it effect the new matter (say destroying it) instead of overfilling the universe? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/confused.gif

But arnt we all mad out of the same matter. If i whent back i would not be new matter just a adding to old matter.but non of us no for sure, and thar only one true wha to find out. to do it.Me personly i dont think the unavers is a fragel as we all think, and were all made up form the same matter that was presint 2000 yours ago.new matter to me is interdosing something alean to the unavers.

Re: Killing is not nice, try disproving.

I think it's the idea of traveling from "our" universe to an alternate universe, if you believe in the many-worlds interpretation, a parallel universe is introduced when we time-travel into the past. So I guess in a sense we would be foreign to that universe, because it's an alternate from our point of origin. I've heard some people discussing the molecular composition of a parallel universe could be quite different from our own, perhaps negative, and our universe's matter could not survive existing in that universe. It could simply fall apart or implode, or could create a black hole that would destroy the universe. Again, just theory and speculation, take it for what it's worth.

See I think of it in this way. Tack the human body for instens ,think of it as the unavers. Now say I in sert a microb of mettel in my right hand. Dose it hert, yes do i blow up no.The matter is foren to me and dose cous a chang resalting in my pan but i do not spontanisly conbust. But like i said no one nows for sure and its all just thery.

See I think of it in this way. Take the human body for instance, think of it as the universe. Now say I insert a microbe of metal in my right hand. Does it hurt? Yes. Do I blow up? No. The matter is foreign to me and does cause a change resulting in my pain but I do not spontaneously combust. But like I said no one knows for sure and its all just theory.
