JT\'s motive

Now that JT is proved to be a carefully designed hoax, I like to put forward these questions:

Is he a psychopath to say that there would be a civil war around the presidential elections? After all, he got most of it right and as his fans increased at the fall of 2005, there is a big blow to it.

Why would he do such a foolish thing? Why would he make it a foolish guess?

May be I think he was a person trying to fool the Anti-Americans? could that be George W Bush himself? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Interesting question. But it's yet to be proven a hoax.

Assuming it's a hoax I have only two theories despite the problem of infinite possibilities.


1) Someone who makes a living fabricating conspiracy theories to trick "dumb" people into paying for additional bits of the theories as they "unfold". (BTW, I am "dumb")

2) It's a MEME written by someone who enjoys all that America has to offer but has nothing positive to contribute in return.

I wouldn't call it Psychopathic, more Anarchistic, and he hasn't been proven to be a hoax... yet. As for motives, who knows? Money? Infamy? For a laugh? I dont know.

You know what? I don't care if it is a hoax, it brought a lot of attention to the subject, just like when people first saw Back to the Future. As lame and inaccurate as it was.

I also think it brought a specific theory to the table. That of different timeline/worldline. Multiple dimensions, where anything was possible. Divergance factors. Specially designed gravity detectors to stay tracked to the planet. It was very well thought out if a hoax. Very scientifically thought out. If not a hoax then there still is not much to go on but very specific dates were given and until they come and pass the legend will still be alive.

Hey, the Sceintific things he told us, about the atomic clock and the theory of parallel universes, these cannot be proved to be a hoax. In other words, they are accurate.

But why would such a knowledgeable person make a blunder like this? If he had said that the Civil war breaks out in 2008, then there would have been a lot of JT Freaks runnin around till 2008. Even I was a JT freak till 2005!!

I'll tell u, his motive is far from what we can imagine. Its true. Either he has to be a Psychopath or a REAL TIME TRAVELER who was playin around here in the past just like he said it.

Do you know just how many, fakes, phychics, contactees, channelers etc have used American civil war as a way to get themselves noticed?

A LOT.

Titor wasn't exactly original in his prediction of a US civil war. Far from it.

I'd like to understand why everyone says its a hoax?
I've always thought (even before john's posting) that tiem was like he explains it.
1 starting point, with millions of branches. for every choice a new world is made wher that choice was done the other way. (ie: i went left, the other branch is the timeline where i went right)

But I don't understand why he is called a hoax, just because there is no civil war. His Divergance was after all 2.5%. thats a small number, but in the grand scheme of things, that number is HUGE!

His timeline did suffer through the Y2k Bug, we didnt.

It just seems odd that everyone says its a hoax by associating things that make no sense or are pure coincidence to his story. Like the story that he is a fraud cus he took the story from a game called gurps, i read the story and its simmilar but not very close at all.

maybe in his divergence the presidant made a bad choice, like "I want more control" while in this timeline the pres said "meh, i dont need that much power"

Just like he said, if he "predicts" anything and we change it then he becomes a fraud, so tere is no way for him to prove it to us. and there is technically no possible way to prove him wrong either...

so its hard for anyone to say he's a fraud, his story was exactly that, a STORY.

wether you choose to believe any part or the whole or none, is up to you, but you cant call him a fraud. Either way his message was a very good one.

look in the 2005 guiness book of records, scientist have agreed that Sergei Avdeyev (astronaut) has time traveled 1/50th of a second into the future. Through Time Dilation (which is part of JTs story)
If he is real, how are we to argue about wether or not his machine makes sense, we arent all knowing. People think that everything in the world has to apply to our "Earth" physics. well a day here is 24 hours, on venus a day is longer than a year, and gravity is diffrent on the moon.

So we cant say that because it makes no sense to us its impossible (just like he explained about the jet engine to the wright brothers). in 30 years they could discover something to take control of singularities. back in the 1800s they never could imagine something like a 3.4ghz computer with a 20 inch flat monitor playing movies....

Anyway, thats a bit of a rant im sorry.
I believe in Timelines/worldlines, and I belive in time travel. as for JT his story is his world, not ours, we still have our own choices to make, and when the time comes we will deal with them.

So basically out of all that i still ask why are there some out there 100% positive he is a hoax?

I wouldnt say confidently that he is a psychopathic Time Traveler cuz he mentioned about infinite timelines and the more he stays here, the more the divergence factor becomes. That's exactly true. Since he was here, most americans knew it and the civil war was stopped.

But what about the rest of the World? Recently there was a news that Russia is developing Nukes and increase in the Chinese population.

So Im pretty sure he is a Time Traveller or a Psychopath!!

Russia has had nukes for years, it's North Korea that are developing nukes. I think that there is still a possibility of a civil war in America, not a very large possibility, but a possibility none-the-less, I'm not saying I believe that Titor was a time traveller, but if he wasn't he was very clever. I dont mind one way or the other at the moment, because it doesn't affect me, but if his story and his future turn out to be true then I guess we are all a bit screwed.

I wouldnt say screwed really except for the 3billion dead.
But the society he spoke of was technically better than our own. He ws right that the world has become very selfish and lazy, but then again if we keep on the same path in peace, than it wont matter, we will continue this way but society wil constantly support itself so there wont be an issue no matter how lazy we become /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

As for the civil war thing, its always a possibility. If the US tried to limit freedom then there will be a war. I dont know that the government would be that stupid though.

1) Do you think the author regrets his decision to be annoymous?

2) Do you think the author is apologetic to the people who can't sleep because of his story?

Oh man! i didnt know this one. Jack pot! looks like hes for real, ladies and gents. You just can't fake that sort of thing.

does anyone know how well "Mr i'm not telling my story to the mass numbers" book is doing lately?
